Hi, I'm Manjeet Patil (Dr Pat), I've been a dentist for 20 years, I'm a local Ringwood resident, I love what I do and I'm passionate about getting you the smile you want.
I grew up in Adelaide and earned my dental degree from The University of Adelaide in 1998. Along the way, I've also completed a Fellowship in Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology and Oral Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. I also completed my Implant training in Oxford, UK.

In order to demystify dentistry and ask any questions you may have we give everyone a free first consultation. This isn't a replacement for a check up or ongoing essential maintenance, but will help to clarify which options are available to you, how long your treatment might take and how much its likely to cost.
A veneer is a thin but strong tooth shaped ceramic that is bonded on to the front of the tooth. It is similar to how a false fingernail in that a veneer bonds on to the face of the tooth. There is usually little to no tooth structure that needs to be adjusted, and we pick the size, shape and whiteness that best fits your smile.
Many parents may be hesitated or reluctant to take their children to the dentist, however once they do things can change for the better. It is recommended when a child turns two years old, it is time to take them visit child friendly dentist for a check-up. Your children will meet the dentist and have the opportunity to get used to the environment and the dentist chair, so they can feel comfortable.
As part of the check up we do an oral cancer check, a full gum exam and check for decay. We will also do a cosmetic check and advise you of simple strategies and treatments which can improve the appearance of your teeth immediately. At Ethos Dental Centre we use Diagnocam, which is a special camera that lets us look into the tooth with out exposing you to x-rays.

If you already have private health insurance, our aim is to get you to a state of health where you can choose to drop "extras cover" and therefore save money on monthly premiums or keep it if that is what is best for you.

I have never been one to like going to the dentist, I’ve just never had good experiences with them. But with Shane, Pauline and all the staff at Clondalkin Dental they absolutely changed my attitude about going to the dentist as a whole. They were very informative and helped me understand everything that was going on with my teeth and exactly how my dental plan should be dealt with. They were very friendly and very efficient at everything they did. I’d give 6 stars if I could. If you have teeth that need fixing or even if you're looking for advice you need to go here. I'd book in with them

Hadn’t been to a dentist in years, I’ve had so many bad experiences, but can’t recommend this clinic highly enough. The best dentist I’ve ever been to. I was terrified, and they looked after me so well, I needed a wisdom extraction and it was done within ten minutes - I didn’t even know the tooth was out! All of the staff I dealt with were fantastic, they knew I was scared and they did what they could to keep me calm :)
