If you arrive prior to check in, we have luggage storage facilities and plenty of off street parking - simply drop your bags with us and then take a stroll on the beach or visit a local cafe. Apartments feature large open plan kitchen, dining and lounge room facilities, a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, master bathroom and second large bedroom.

Local Attractions Report

We're situated in the heart of Penguin, Northwest Tasmania. Less than 30 metres fromt the ocean, you can walk along the foreshore, swin, surf, dive or simply relax and put your feet up. There are several cafes and restaurants in Penguin or you can purchase your own food for the apartment.

Penguin is ideally located for exploring the Cradle coast/Northwest region of Tasmania - we are located an hour from Cradle Mountain National Park, are a short 25 minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania terminal in the City of Devonport and 30 minutes from airports in Devonport and Burnie.Launceston is 1.5 hours by car and Hobart, Tasmania's Capital City is 3.5 hours by car.

I have stayed here twice - in the 2 bedroom apartment and in the retro studio over the last couple of months. The place is immaculate - clean, beautifully decorated and centrally located with the beach across the road. Highly recommend!

Would definitely recommend, we only had one night here unfortunately but if we're ever in the area again we would stay for longer. Beautiful apartment felt like home.

Fully upgraded units with attached bathrooms/toilet. Water front view, two IGA store on the steps. Very quite and peaceful site.
One thing missing is no lock for inside door :)
but overall You would love it

Stayed in ground floor retro apartment which was pretty cool for a 70+ couple. Best part was starting the day having breakfast in cosy eating nook with laminex table top .. looking out over waterfront ...the best sunrise...and end of day fantastic sky. Only item we missed was a cooking stove top..but good size provided electric fry pan did the trick. The hosts Terry & Lib also got a 5 star rating. We'll be back. Brian & Marg...South Hobart.

Place is huge and luxurious with a great outlook. Only reason I did not give 5 stars was because Wi-Fi was useless and air conditioning did not extend to bedroom. Totally blocked off. I know you rarely need it in Tassie but had to sleep on couch one night to get cool

A beautifully appointed apartment with two large bedrooms, one with en suite. Direct ocean view and tall ceilings. Libby, the Landlord was so very helpful in securing me a doctor's appointment. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would certainly recommend it to everyone!

The true test is whether I would book this place again. I definetly would as I couldn't fault the accomodation. Wonderful to have comfortable furniture to sit in and watch tv. The place is immaculate.

Cozy and beautiful place stay. It was a good decision we picked Penguin over Burnie as it has more characters to it. Don't forget a morning run and meditation before you start a great day in Tas.
