Not trustworthy. This guy tried to take advantage of us when we were out on a limb. Passing through town on route back to Melbourne, we wanted a standard diesel service. He quoted $200-$400 then charged $560 and said we needed a bunch of urgent repairs totalling $1500 with alarming, unprofessional text messages. We took it back to our reliable hometown mechanic for a service who took a look at the order and confirmed he was full of s**t. Not only that, he man-splained to my partner who picked the vehicle up. I had a great experience using Advanced Auto centre to sort out my air conditioning issues from a previous
Mechanic. They walked me through step by step all the processes had it repaired in a timely fashion. They were also very conservatively priced. I would not hesitate using there service’s in the future.

I went just before Christmas to this centre for an oil change and yearly inspection and was extremely disappointed.
I was told I needed shocks to be replaced and two tyres. This was told to me after they had done the oil change!! Extremely unprofessional to not inspect the car first and tell me what had to be done. They spoke on top of me when I was asking questions.
I paid for the service and left. I still felt uneasy the next day so I visited another mechanic I passed by. I asked the mechanic about the tyres and shocks and he said they were fine.
I then asked if he thought oil had been changed

Took our car here for a second opinion after getting a quote from another garage for around 7k worth of repairs. Tony checked over the car and found most of the things not required to be changed they were just worn with age. We had the front and rear brakes done and he recommended an exhaust specialist for a different problem. He could have just agreed with the first garage and done all the repairs himself for a lesser price but he was honest with us, gave us quotes and advice so then we could decide what we wanted to do.
