Cetacea is situated on the Merimbula Lake edge. From all the units there is a clear view of the town across the lake. When night falls on the units the view improves, with the lights of the town reflecting a rainbow of colours on the water. These views can be experienced from the unit balconies or from inside through the large front windows.
Or if you dare, while you lay in bed in the main bedroom. The Fishpen Peninsula on which Cetacea is located is a quite North Eastern sunny position. There is only a three/five minute walk to the main beach, children's playground, convenience store, take-away, bike hire and fish tackle shop. The lake's edge gives you the convenience of fishing, prawning, boating and swimming.

The apartment location was superb -amazing views day & night. It was spacious & furniture in general was comfortable. But for all the 5 star reviews & luxury I feel like I stayed somewhere else. I have both stayed & worked in luxury 5 star resorts. Overall the apartment was not 5 star clean- dirty glasses in the sink when we checked in, random bottle of glass cleaner on coffee table, needed a good dust & had cobwebs, kitchen needed a good wipe over & the TV was hanging on an angle on the wall. Definitely not my idea of luxury. It was all a bit tired & dated -mismatched el cheapo crockery, glasses

Location was great, right across from water. We had ground floor unit. We could sit outside, have nice views and have plenty of space with grass area in front of us. Also balcony above us provided a little bit of cover in case of light showers. Unit very spacious and comfortable for 3 adults. Excellent amenities. 2 bathrooms is excellent. Car parking space and easy to get to. Not much sound insulation from floor above, so if you have noisy neighbours above who insist on dragging chairs and walking in high heals late at night, you will hear this.

Couldn’t ask for a better position, not only the water views, but also walking distance to all the great things in town, - eateries, shoes, clothes, and the boardwalk. Comfy furniture, good bed and nice having a full size table. This is our second visit, and plan to return twice yearly at least. Jeanette goes above and beyond to help. Thankyou!!

Cetacea apartments are in the most amazing location and the views are spectacular. The rooms are spacious and everything is provided, making our stay very comfortable and easy (no mean feat with 4 small children!). We love to walk along the boardwalk, watch the pelicans and early oyster fishing and visit the amazing local playground. We love Cetacea Apartments and hope to return for our third visit very soon. Thank you again!
