My lady friend and I had lunch here today and absolutely loved it. We both asked for grilled fish with vegetables and could not have been more pleased.
It was hot and inviting and we loved it. As seniors we don't want that much but as seniors we prefer our veges to salad and chips. Good work to all the pleasant and helpful staff involved. Thank you. Coming back soon for more

The hotel is not cashing in on its prime location. With th so many new apartments and so many more people living in Doncaster area it should be a must to visit and eat in. The hotel needs to step up. It is tired and old fashiobed looking. The service is polite but slow. The food is of poor quality and toverpriced. Make it a special pub to visit.

Very ordinary food, chicken burger is thigh meat and there isn't a seniors menu anymore. Staff are very inconsiderate. Because there isn't a seniors menu I asked if my mother could order from the kids menu Because of the size of the meal... all I got was a straight out NO!. The food and staff used to be great... now it's just BAD!. Won't be going back.

I wanted to say a huge thanks to The Doncaster Hotel for their wonderful service last week. With funeral numbers limited at a nearby venue, they live streamed the service so a larger group of family and friends could watch it together and feel connected at a difficult time. Gavin and his team went out of their way to assist us and couldn't have been more helpful. We all stayed for a lovely lunch and an afternoon of reminiscing and connections. Thank you for all you did in making it a special day for extended friends and family.

Good tasting bar food in a typical bar setting. Lots of television sets available to watch various sports. However they only have a few cable (foxtel) boxes so there’s only so many different channels they can put on.
The menu and ordering isn’t very systematic and quite confusing as we were seated by a server but had to order at the counter which we weren’t told. Furthermore we were only provided with 1 menu when there were actually 2 with completely different items.
Overall it’s nothing to rave about, just your regular bar.
