Conroy Dance Centre is dedicated to providing the highest quality of dance and performing arts training in a friendly, positive and safe environment. Whilst encouraging each student to achieve their full potential, we strive to provide opportunities for a lifetime of memories, or potential career. Conroy Dance Centre (CDC) is committed to creating an atmosphere that enables children and young people to learn and develop in a safe environment.
For our tiniest dancers right through to our 'grown up' Primary students, everyone is a special and treasured member of our dancing family. A special class for our tiniest dancers where Mummy, Daddy or carer joins in the fun and dances along. This is a lovely introduction to dance for these little children with the security of their favourite grown-up by their side.
Our graded classes are especially designed to encourage and inspire dancers from 7-13 years of age. Classes offered include jazz, tap, ballet, singing, musical theatre, contemporary and acrobatics. At this level of training and to obtain maximum benefit, we recommend students take classes 2 days a week.
Performing in group eisteddfods (competitions) is one of the highlights of our dancers' year. Our students love to perform, and eisteddfods provide the challenge and fun of competition. Whilst having a great time performing, they learn valuable life lessons along the way - commitment, dedication, team spirit, motivation, good sportsmanship and discipline.
Examination results are always very pleasing and reflect the time, effort and dedication put into this. Examinations provide a carefully structured training system, ensuring that students are challenged in a safe, age-appropriate manner. They help provide short-term goals for students to aspire and work towards.

My daughters have been dancing at Conroy's since they were 3 years old and I couldn't be happier with the confidence and talent they have developed. What an exceptional teaching staff. Both girls love their Conroy family and friends and I couldn't rate this dance school enough for young dancers. We love our Conroy family!!!!

A dance school overrun by narcissistic tiger mothers
By far the most negative dance environment we have ever experienced – it will take some time to repair the psychological damage to my child.
This centre is overrun by parents utterly obsessed with making their children a “star” – a fixation that is exploited by management who promise a “friendly and inclusive environment” yet sanction unrestrained favouritism.
Bullying goes entirely unchecked and is just as prevalent in the parent cohort as it is among the children.
Parents re-mortgage houses to afford the exorbitant fee schedule

We have been with Conroy Dance Centre for nearly 10 years, with our daughter starting in 2012 as a (just) 3 year old and our son following suit in 2014 at only 2! It really has become a second family with each of us, the kids and parents parents, all creating lifelong memories and friendships.
As a studio, the ability to genuinely cater for dancers of all ages and abilities, from tinies through to pre-professionals, is second to none. Conroy Dance Centre provides high quality training across all genres of dance while still recognising the importance of schooling and family life for the well-being

My daughter started dance lessons at CDC in the beginning of 2019. If your child loves to perform, Conroys is the place to be. Their talent and passion will be nurtured, and they have so many opportunities to develop their skills. My daughter's dancing and confidence has improved so much, best move we ever made.

Our grandchildren attended this centre and were treated appallingly by other students and staff despite exceptionally expensive fees - which we paid for our children to enable our grandchildren to attend. Nastiness among the "chosen few" is tolerated widely and the entire program is skewed to suit a handful of "favourites"/ winning group eisteddfod titles. If you're the child of a former student or a soloist whose parents pour thousands of dollars into pursuing solo competition titles you will be given preferential treatment. If you're the majority of students in the class you'll be treated like

My daughter has been dancing at Conroy's Since she was 2 years old. The love, dedication ad support provided to her by all the teaches at Conroy's for the past 8.5 years has helped her developed her passion, dedication and technique for dance. Conroy Dance Center are dedicated to ensure the children are given all the opportunities and development they need to achieve their dance goals, The other opportunities offered as well from Exams, work Eisteddfods and production work, also has helped my daughters confidence, resilience and love of dance, through the support offered by all teachers and staff

This is my daughters 7th year at Conroy Dance Centre and she has loved it from her very first lesson. She has made beautiful friends and has wonderful memories to hold onto forever. Conroy Dance Centre will teach your child everything about dance plus lifelong qualities such as commitment, dedication, resilience, teamwork, time management and the list continues. My daughter has been a member of the Starz Production Team for 4 years and has enjoyed the endless performance opportunities she has been involved in, with going to the USA definitely a trip she will never forget.

My eldest has gone to Conroys for 7 years now, and my youngest for 4 years. Both love it. They learn so much - not just about dance, but about work ethic, teamwork, striving for goals, and supporting each other. Because of Conroys they think exams are fun. The kids have made great friends there, and so have I. It's a very supportive and professional environment. All dancing and costumes are age-appropriate too.
