Russell is simply the best vet I have ever come across. I have traveled across Melbourne to him for three dogs now and his care whether they are pups, dogs or at the end of their lives is incredibly caring, empathetic, considerate and with the most expert advice.

In April of 2011 the building began its transformation from an empty shell into a fully equipped hospital. Six months later we had a lovely new place for us to provide high level care to our patients. The recovery cages allow us to keep a closer eye on animals after surgery since this is the room we spend the most time in.

Last week was the end of life for our Jack Russell Tess, our friend & mate for 18 years. She could not have been in better hands than with Russell and the team at Seddon Vet Hospital. Russell’s care for Tess for over 10 years & empathy for our family at this sad time was outstanding! Heart-felt & huge thank you to Russell & the Seddon Vet Hospital team.

This is the biggest surgery I ever had to stress over BUT Dr. Russell and his team put us at ease by explaining pre and post op procedures in detail. Full trust on our part + abundance of love and care on their part = happy pets! (Pictures of Bosley a day after surgery - up and about, getting kisses from his brother Elvis, eating and sleeping well - during WebEx sessions!)❤
Thank ♡ You ♡ Dr.Russell & Team ♡
Our pets love and trust Dr. Russell. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Called to try to find information about pricing. I just moved in to the area, need to find a new vet for my dog. She has a skin specialist who just needs a gp vet to do a routine follow up on her.
Trying to find out information on how much consultation cost and price of medication. Reception super rude, when I tried to ask what is a dispensing fee means and asked her to explain to me how it works she told me her manager would not allow her to explain it.
The example is a medication called Cytopoint, it an injection. They quoted me $146, the most expensive vet so far. Even the specialist did not

We’ve been going here for almost 4 years now and very happy with their service. Just one thing though, around Christmas period last year they didn’t let us know in advance that we won’t be seeing our normal vet and just allocated us to someone random (perhaps part-timer or intern?). I wasn’t thrilled about this. If their normal staff were on break I think I should have been asked if I would still want to go ahead with appointment with other vet.
