Goodwin Drive Family Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice. Patients aged under 16 and those with pension or DVA cards are bulk billed. All other patients will incur a consultation fee. Eftpos facilities are available for your convenience and we can assist with same day processing of Medicare Rebates.

We provide an extensive list of medical services to every member of your family. We believe healthcare in Bribie Island should be accessible by everyone and offer Bulk Billed services, along additional services that are privately billed. Some men don't always like to discuss their health concerns but finding a trusted health care provider for check-ups and any concerns you may have is just a quick phone call away.
Goodwin Drive Family Medical Centre is currently seeking a VR GP to fill a recently vacated position within the practice. The successful applicant will replace a popular GP with existing clientele. The centre has a well-established patient base, is privately-owned and centrally located in the main shopping precinct on beautiful Bribie Island.
For your convenience, we have a Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology collection centre at our practice. This means you can save time by not having to travel elsewhere for pathology tests. If you are not eligible for a government funded influenza vaccine you can purchase the vaccine at the practice for $20.00.
Jeff's background included experience as a secondary teacher, owner/operator of small business and work in employment & rehabilitation services, before establishing a career as a psychologist. He completed his training and qualifications through the approved practice-based approach, which provided experience in dealing with a wide range of psychosocial presentations.

I started seeing Dr Amala Bagul around 15 months ago after searching for a doctor who would take me seriously for practically my whole adulthood. I suffer with mental health issues, Scoliosis and a whole range of other health issues. My kids also see Amala and she is AMAZING with both my 3 year old and my Autistic 8 year old. She listens to all your concerns and takes them all very seriously. I have had to see other doctors in the centre who are all of very high standards also. I had to move to Caboolture 3 months ago and refuse to see any doctor closer to home, instead happily travelling the 30mins

Recently had a consult with Dr Rayner and after paying for the consult and receiving a script. The script was filled in incorrect and had to return and wait to get completed correctly. I had asked to get a 2 page form filled in and was told 5 days later I was told he would fill them in for $150. I said I would take it elsewhere as I did not agree with this fee. where they had refused to release the form as it had been partially completed when I asked for it not to be. When asked for a medical certificate for the original consult I was told I would have to book and pay again for another to receive

Tried to find a private email on your website to make a complaint and couldn't find one.
your doctors and nurses are great however the way the centre is managed has steadily declined over the years along with the poor attitude from reception on the phone. I spent 5 hours waiting for a telehealth phone call and when I called clinic (45 mins past appointment time) reception was rude stating the disclaimer that the doctor would call me when they can. I had many other medical calls for young daughter to call today but afraid of missing the gp call I didn't make any of them. after the last phone call

This employee is valued by the practice as being very efficient and organised but alarmingly is often rude, intolerant and without compassion. This is detrimental for patients who are coming into the practice often at their most vulnerable.
I, and others, visit less often now, to avoid the blunt and direct rudeness, and we are therefore less likely to be diagnosed and treated when needed. The issue has been raised with this employee several times but it continues. Time

I would never go here again. Firstly receptionist was very rude when booking and upon arrival both times. Saw 2 different doctors both wouldn’t send me to get ct scans only an X-ray after literally begging them after 2 wks of swollen rib pain, when my ribs were clearly sticking out on one side was told “that’s jst normal.” I saw another dr an hour away who was extremely thorough and luckily sent me for ct scans and mri thank god as I had a rupture and needed surgery and also found 2 possible cancerous lesions.
