Originally from Taiwan, David migrated to Australia in the late 1990s. Raised by a family of medical professionals, he grew up with keen interests in both Classical Chinese literature and Chinese philosophy, which form the basis of Chinese Medicine.
After being accepted into one of the top Taiwanese universities, China Medical University, David returned to Taiwan to begin 8 years of medical training where he attained a double degree in Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine.He interned at the University Hospital and obtained his Chinese Medicine Doctor accreditation in 2009.

In Chinese medicine, healthy functioning of the body is governed by the flow of energy ("qi", ) through a system of channels. When all the flows are smooth, all organs are functioning well and the body is in balance. When the flow of energy is disrupted, organ functions are disrupted, which often results in discomfort or even illness.

Working on the same methodology as acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine aims to re-establish the natural balance and harmony of the body. Each prescription will be tailored made by us according to your condition, through mixing of different herbs.
Cupping is a traditional therapy that has been practiced for millennia in China and in modern times is commonly combined with acupuncture treatment. When apply cupping, we will create a vacuum in a cup and then place it along the meridian system. As some tissue is drawn by the cup, it draws toxins and old stagnant blood from deep within your body to the surface skin layers.

I have very low pain tolerance but cupping, acupuncture and moxibustion administered by Dr David Lee was comforting and soothing! The doctor carefully listens to your problems, identifies the root cause and creates a targeted treatment plan to address the underlying issues. He also provided complementary samples to help aid my recovery, which I am very grateful for. Thank you, David!

Dr David Lee is a dedicated and committed practitioner. Having knowledge of both Western Dr & Eastern Dr credentials was why I chose him over other professionals. I had hit a road block with Western medicine for my rare pain condition. Through treatment I'm getting some comfort. I leave treatment relaxed, pain is lessened. I will continue to use the treatments, as there are few options for me that work to help me & have some relief for quality of life. As a person, David is a great man, respectful, funny, informative. Very easily made an online booking the morning of
my appointment to see David and left with my neck issue resolved. He really took the time to do a thorough consultation and repeated the treatment during the time we had as many times as was needed to ensure the best result possible was achieved. David Lee has both qualifications of traditional Chinese Herbalist and Western medicine. He combines the two to more precision diagnosis and appropriate treatment. I had severe lower back pain and I saw a spinal specialist and I was told that the only was to treat it was an operation(spinal fusion). Luckily I saw David and he gave me a few session of acupuncture plus a good rest for weeks, all pain was gone (not cure, spondylosis and stenosis can't be cured, unless operating on it). It's been year the pain did not come back, of course with very careful in movement and lifting heavy things.

A couple of weeks ago came down with the terrible flu which resulted in a nagging headache over on the right side of my head. I went to see my GP and went through a cocktail of medications that's supposed to target headaches but nothing was really effective.
Out of desperation a friend recommended me to see Dr David Lee for some accupuncture treatment. I've always been afraid of needles so was a bit apprehensive.
