If eco friendly and sustainability is what you look for when staying away from home, then Sippers is what you are looking for. Sippers is a 5 star sustainable house with 1.5 air-span under the roof, 3.0 batts in the ceiling, 1.5 batts in all external walls, 3.0 batts under the floor and in the ceiling down stairs and sound-stop insulation in the inter walls between the rooms.
We all had a great time and Sippers provided the perfect accommodation - the set up was really beaut and suited us to a tee. We also enjoyed the living area with the large couch we could all sit on etc. Everyone was very happy. Best place we've stayed at in Stanthorpe - So well fitted out and great for cooking, wine - ing and good times.
Down stairs in this newly restored Kindergarten from Boonah, are 4 themed bedrooms each with its own large ensuite and individual air-conditioning system. There is a laundry, and bedroom 4 has a large bath and facilities for the disabled. Each bedroom opens through French doors onto a verandah that extends the full length of the building, with screens on all windows and doors.

This place is fabulous for 8 people (4 double or 8 single beds and 5 bathrooms)to enjoy the wonderful area: wineries, restaurants and the Girraween National Park walks.
The house exceeded all of our expectations; so well appointed. Tavern and local store walking distance + great coffee.
We organised a local taxi to take us to the wineries and restaurants - great idea.
We would highly recommend this wonderful home for a country getaway. 👍👍
