We've always enjoyed staying here. Been about 3 times. Simple, comfortable, quiet. Parking around the back for trucks and caravans or trailers is a bonus which we've used with a removalist truck several times.
We always eat at the excellent Thai restaurant at the other end of the main Street Opposite Woolworths

Wow! This place is like a palace. The room we stayed in was huge with a king size bed and a lounge, nice and clean with a bar fridge and good sized TV. The bathroom is beautiful with everything you need and the towels are huge. The view of the river is gorgeous and the motel is in walking distance to restaurants and shops. Perfect!

Handy location, room was spotless as were the utensils and linen. Comfortable bed with electric blankets. View from window was a bonus. Hostess, Kate was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Do yourselves a favour and book direct, nice to talk with the people who own the business.

Clean and comfortable.
The best and biggest bed I've had in a motel. Slept very well.
As we were late arriving our room was left unlocked and ready for us after the lovely owner had phoned us.

What a great little last minute place to stay., Lady was friendly when we arrived and up graded us to a family room with plenty of space. suited our need and was priced well for what you get. Clean tidy and well presented. Read other reviews before commenting.... What noisy air con? Ours was quiet. Wife commented we would say again and are planning a return trip to Stanthorpe.

It your usual typical old style hotel. Has a modern air-conditioned microwave fridge that wasn't noisy for a change. Very small but no noise which is what you want when you just want to sleep. Nice Doona very warm choice of pillows in the cupboard.

Great location, friendly staff. Helped us work out where to go to check out some wineries and the rooms were clean and tidy. The rooms have a lovely view of the waterway behind it and for the price you can't complain. Close to the town centre and Omaras pub which is worth checking out!
