We are a driving school based in Murwillumbah and servicing Tweed Heads and the lower Gold Coast. Our trainers are all authorised by the NSW transport department RMS/RTA to train and Assess.
Burleigh Driver Training School provides high-quality truck licence training in Gold Coast, Brisbane, Tweedheads and Murwillumbah. We also service students from Queensland and New South Wales. With a Medium Rigid Vehicle, drive a truck or bus of more than 8 tonne GVM but no more than 2 axles and tow a trailer of up to 9 tonne GVM.
Pass your Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence Test in QLD or NSW HVCBA course which will allow you to drive a large range of heavy vehicles. If you have a manual car licence and only wanting to obtain a Condition B (Synchromesh) licence, you may want to complete you test in the automatic to easily obtain your Heavy Rigid Truck Licence.
Need a Heavy Combination Truck (HC) Licence or a Heavy Combination Truck (HC) Licence upgrade?. Obtaining your HC Truck Licence will allow you to drive trucks including a prime mover of more than 8 tonne GVM with a with a trailer over 9 tonne GVM. Burleigh Driver Training School will help you in upgrading your current MR or HR Licence to a heavy combination licence so you can drive prime movers with a single trailer.

I recently used Budget Driver training to obtain my HR licence. I Highly recommended the the team... Especially Ian who was highly knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. Will definatly be using them again when I work up the courage for crash boxes lol😂

I originally completed my HR with Budget Driver Training. All went smoothly, professionally organised and efficient.
