Such an outstanding dance studio. Both my children absolutely love CMDA. We've been a member of the CMDA family for 7 years now. The teachers are professional, friendly and amazing at what they do. Cathy herself has always made us feel welcome and absolutely loves the kids. Her dedication and professionalism is incredible. We wouldn't be anywhere else!

The absolute best dance school on the coast in my opinion. My daughter started here 10 years ago as an incredibly shy kid who danced around the house. She has grown in confidence and technique through the nurturing, inclusive family that is CMDA and is this year moving on to full-time dance at Brent Street while she obtains her Diploma of dance (elite performance) but will be back. We can't thank Cathy and her team enough for the years of fun, friendship, technique and grounding that has allowed my daughter to get to where she is today.

Cathy’s was my second home growing up from 5 years old to 21! Cathy Makin Dance Academy is an amazing dance school where friends and teachers turn into family. Cathy is an amazing dance teacher and role model. There are a variety of classes to chose from whether you are just starting out and want to dance for fun, or want to really dive into technique. The end of year concerts are always such an amazing way to finish the year! This is truly such a special place and I wouldn’t be the person I am today with out CMDA!

CMDA is the prefect place for any dancer, any age, level or experience. All teachers are highly qualified, trained and accomplished in the industry. They offer a nurturing, loving, inspiring and friendly environment to develop and grow. I have no hesitation recommending CMDA.

I cannot recommend this dance studio enough,my daughter loves it there,loves the teachers,and has made lots of friends,she loved it so much last year,after starting half way through the year,she has decided to do more classes this year.She has high functioning Autism,can be a little clumsy,but just LOVES to dance,and Cathy Makins does not discriminate and welcomed her no problems at all :):):)
