Our Studio Mission is to make a difference in our students' lives, giving them a home away from home and providing them with skills to achieve their goals and dreams. Growing up, my dance studio was my happy place. I love and cherish the friendships I gained from dance and wish to provide a home away from home for the students of Elite Dance from our littlest jewels through to our adult dancers.
The story of Elite Dance began in 1994, when we started from scratch as Lamott School of Dance. Our love of dance education has seen us grow into a thriving and respected dance school in our community. In 2006, Lorraine Blackburn, one of the founding teachers of the studio took the reins exclusively and we were renamed to Elite Dance, reflective of the type of instruction we offer.

At Elite Dance, our curriculum is designed to give our dancers the best educational experience. It allows students to excel at their chosen hobby and meet their dance goals. At Elite Dance, all our gemstone dancers take ballet as their foundation style, and are offered a range of styles and extension classes to create their own unique dance journey.
At Elite Dance, we love getting to know our dancers from their very first steps in dance class! Our little jewels classes provide a the perfect foundation in dance for preschoolers and feed into our gemstone levels. We offer a unique curriculum covering the foundations of ballet, jazz and tap, from here, our Little Jewels can branch into a range of styles when they move up to our Gemstone Levels.
