I took my 1 year-old iMac that had performed like a dog from day 1 to Mark's workshop in Coorpooroo. Prior to that he had told me over the phone exactly how much it would cost to replace the Mac's HDD with an SSD, how soon it would be ready, and the resulting performance that I should expect. My iMac came back running like a dream and for the price of $525 for the new drive and labour. I think he gets a buzz out of helping people. Highly recommended.

My laptop was murdered and brought it in to see if it could get resurrected.. Mark was prompt, knowledgeable, professional, respectful and honest in the way that he dealt with my situation. He took the time to give me a lot of great advice and taught me a lot (I'm someone who has no idea about computers). I'm happy with the result and will definitely come back to see him as my first port of call should I have any IT issues again in future! Thanks for all your help. :)

Mark was excellent. I had an issue with my machine I needed sorted ASAP. He advised, tested and gave me realistic options for repair. Very responsive, professional and didn't even charge me for the diagnosis. I explored multiple alternatives and he was the only one who cared to even listen. Top notch. Thanks to him my machine is up and running again and I'd be happy to pay just for the diagnosis. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you!

Turned on my computer at 10am today and it did an update, which I didn't think much of. Finally turned on and it wouldn't even give any options for wifi - only airplane mode, (when typically it automatically connects to my home wifi). Ran diagnostics and found a networking hardware issue, and was immediately out of my depth. Did a google search for repairs close to home (Morningside) and found Mark at Affordable Computer Repairs and Service, called and he spoke with me briefly, then said he needed to call me back which was fine. Then one day it suddenly turned off and refused to boot.
I took my tower in to Mark and although he had found nothing faulty with the machine, I'm happy to report he got it working again.
Most businesses nowadays make you feel like they're in a hurry to tick and flick you out but Mark is very professional and it's easy to understand he has a real passion for his work and understanding your issues. He is also very upfront about options and will take the time to answer any questions you may have

Mark was fantastic in recovering the data from my portable hard drive! When I had been quoted a substantial amount for only a “potential” recovery from large multi National businesses, I sought the help of a local and he did not disappoint. He managed to recover all of my files (and my sanity)!

The impression I got in my interaction with Mark is that this company prioritises finding solutions for their clients' problems above all else, and in a timely manner! When I dropped off my damaged external hard drive today, he promised to assess and give me feedback as soon as he could. And sure enough he called back just after an hour later. In a very professional and courteous manner, he explained that the damage to my (very old) hard drive needed a specialized lab to save my data.
