Our room was facing High St and I thought it would be really noisy but the traffic died down & there was limited noise, we all had a great sleep.

The breakfast order arrived 1/2 an hour late. Making us late for an appointment. The shower was terrible. There seemed to be no temporal valve on the hot water, as it scolded my daughters back during her shower. I couldn’t even place my hand under the bathroom hot tap as it was far too hot. When these problems were reported to front desk the receptionist doubted my concerns by screwing up her face and saying she would have look into it and proceeded to charge our full breakfast cost with no apology or care. Very, very disappointing customer service and illegal not to have a valve on the hot water

Due to a last minute lockdown, I didn't get to stay here. But they gave me 100% refund, which they didn't have to do!! Considering the challenges that hospitality is facing in light of the pandemic, I was pleasantly suprised and super appreciative of this.
I will definitely be staying here next when in Bendigo 🙏

Room was clean and well presented (although slightly dated) It's also roomy. Beds were comfortable and clean.
Issue was the bathroom windows cannot be fully closed, and having people smoking outside, the smoke drifted in. This was not plesent as the 2nd hand smoke lingered.
Would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the smokers next door (or a designated smoking area away from neighbouring rooms.)
