Starting foot care young addresses the common and more unusual challenges children face with their feet and helps them to grow healthier and stronger. Having been in practice for over 41 years and using video technology for many years has enabled us to compile a library of videos of gait (walking patterns) of many of our patients as they have grown and changed.
Diabetes affects the feet by reducing blood circulation, increasing the risk of infection and damaging the nerves of the feet. Diabetes Australia recommends regular foot health checks by a Podiatrist to reduce diabetic foot problems. At Coorparoo Podiatry we undertake regular assessments for those that have diabetes or peripheral vascular disease to determine the status of their foot health.
