Our new therapy K Laser - treats a multitude of conditions, ranging from pain, fungal nails and wounds! In our experience ingrown nails do not resolve on their own. They often need long- term regular maintenance by a podiatrist to keep you pain free. At Pink Podiatry our podiatrists have performed hundreds of procedures to permanently remove the problem.
Contrary to public belief, you do not need to lose the whole nail! The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia. Book in now for your ingrown to nail problems! Fungal nails are not only unsightly, but can lead to problems with the surrounding skin, and in some cases cause deep skin infection.

Services
Home Visits - Currently all home visits are made by Elliot Stanton and are usually on a Tuesday. Home visits are not bulk billed. You will need to pay the cost of the visit in full. Eftpos is available. Acquired the business in 2009. Rebecca trained in the UK and has many many years experience. She enjoys all aspects of podiatric care.
Podiatrists use only sterile equipment to attend to your feet. Sterilising involves the use of an autoclave, as this is the only way to ensure that cross infection cannot occur. Podiatrists can perform a procedure under local anaesthetic to remove a section of the offending nail. Not everyone is suitable for this procedure and it is important that you have an assessment to see if you are a good candidate.
Please note if booking an appointment at Redland Bay, we do not have EFTPOS, HICAPS or TYRO facilities as yet. You will be required to pay the amount in full at the time of the appointment. An invoice will be issued to you so you can claim this back with your appropriate health fund. We aim to keep our prices low.
An initial appointment is required to determine if you do indeed have a fungal nail. Many nail conditions can mimic onychomycosis. If you have a severe infection you will be required to apply an ointment several days before your appointment. During treatment your shoes will be treated too. It is also important that you follow advice to prevent reinfection.
