He set about founding a clinic that would offer a better way of delivering Podiatric Service and Holistic Health, AMA Podiatry. With experience and time, AMA has grown to deliver a diverse and innovative clinic, providing outstanding patient outcomes.

Alex has been a podiatrist in both clinical and research for the past thirty years. He commenced practice in Western Australia where he continued his studies in functional anatomy and biomechanics at Curtin University.

At AMA our sports podiatrists have advanced training to understand the load and forces acting on the musculoskeletal structures of the lower leg, ankle and foot Biomechanics. Musculoskeletal injuries can be quite complex to manage in terms of soft tissue and sporting injuries of the foot, ankle and lower limb conditions.
Heel pain can be complex, and there are often many causes that effect one or both heels. The most common causes of heel pain are either PLANTAR FASCIITIS (bottom of the heel) and ACHILLES TENDINTIS (back of the heel). Symptoms of heel pan include, pain with activity, insidious or acute pain and pain associated on different training surfaces.

ORTHOTIC therapy is the Biomechanical science of using functional foot orthotics to support and align the function of your feet, control planes of motion and alleviate a range of musculoskeletal issues not limited to the feet.

We understand how your child's feet develop, the signs of potential problems and how early detection is important.
