Terranora Child Care Centre is a long day care service and preschool providing high quality care and education for children birth to six years. Terranora Child Care Centre (TCCC) is independently owned and operated by a local family with an excellent reputation of commitment to the care and education of young children.
Our service is located in the hills of Terranora, overlooking the beautiful Tweed Valley and only ten minutes drive from Tweed/Coolangatta, Cabarita and Murwillumbah. We are situated opposite the Terranora Public School and have established a strong transition to school program with this and other local schools.

Services
Terranora Child Care Centre is an independent, family owned and operated service. The centre is owned by James and Angela Hackett both of whom are teachers working within the local community. James is a primary school principal who has had extensive experience in working with children from birth to eighteen years.
Terranora Child Care Centre is a place where children are nurtured and loved. Our service has an inviting, caring and friendly atmosphere. Every child is welcome here. TCCC "makes me feel happy, " (Arlo, child). At our service, children are supported to live happy and healthy lives. Children's independence and resilience is promoted because we believe that each child should be confident in who they are, and who they are becoming.
Renee Smyth is the Educational Leader of our service. Renee has been working with children and families since 2000. She is a 4 year university trained teacher, holding a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), as well as First Aid and Child Protection training.
Renee has also undertaken specialist behaviour management training and has experience working with children's diverse needs and abilities, including children with additional needs and children and families from non-English speaking backgrounds.The role of Educational Leader at Terranora Child Care Centre is largely concerned with ensuring that the service continues to deliver outstanding educational programs for children.

In our nursery we have created a homelike, nurturing environment. Each baby is supported in their own individual routine. They are cuddled, stimulated and nurtured throughout the whole day. The educators form extremely close bonds with the babies and their families in order to provide an individual and responsive curriculum.
Our children are involved in a flexible curriculum, enjoying lots of experiences which are genuinely linked to the children's strengths and interests. This group tends to flow in a predictable routine; however, the children are free to follow their individual needs regarding time for playing, resting and eating.
