Many people ask what acupuncture is and how it works. A simple explanation is that very fine, single-use, sterilised needles are gently inserted into certain points in your body to initiate a response from your central nervous system. The needles are then left in for 20-30 minutes and you can relax on the massage table whilst the acupuncture takes effect.

I am an acupuncturist with extensive experience in medical fields of fertility and pregnancy previously being a registered nurse and midwife. This has provided me with a unique understanding of the journey toward parenthood, from the tiny beginnings, throughout the ups and downs of pregnancy, and ultimately towards the miracle of birth.
Our clinic is centrally located and only 3 blocks walk from the Brisbane Queen St Mall. Due to our location, ensure to allow time for parking. Parking can at times be an issue but generally there is plenty of metered parking in the surrounding streets and a paid car park attached to the back of our building.

The Fertility & Pregnancy Acupuncture Clinic has been designed to cater for women in all stages of pregnancy. The clinic is equipped with electric massage tables so women can comfortably hop on and off the table. We also have pregnancy specific tables so that regardless of how many weeks pregnant you are you will be able to lie face down during you treatment if your condition requires it.
