Modern acupuncture is the merger of traditional acupuncture and a scientific understanding of the body. It is based on a knowledge of acupuncture's traditional concepts and on the study of human anatomy and physiology. Often, traditional and modern frameworks speak of the same things, but use different language.
Acupuncture point injection therapy involves the injection of small amounts of saline solution or sterile water administered by qualified acupuncturists. Like acupuncture, fine needles are inserted into acupuncture points or trigger points just under the skin or into muscles. Su was highly recommended by a friend . I’d never had acupuncture before and a little hesitant . I was welcomed with open arms and Su did a thorough consultation on my history and what areas of my body to focus treatment on .
I saw Su originally about a rolled ankle , headaches and general wellness . After the first session , the pain in my ankle was reduced , I haven’t had a headache since and I’m sleeping better . The surprise take away was my mental health has improved … the results speak for themselves .. highly recommended .

I've been to Dan at New Farm Acupuncture a few times now and every time I leave I'm amazed at the work he does and how well he can understand the point of pain I have and how to get free them up. I've dealt with severe back pain for the last 6 years and Dan has helped so many times with the pain and getting me back to almost pain free. I cannot recommend them enough

By far the best acupuncture and natural therapies practice in Brisbane! Su has helped with painful physical issues like arthritis affected joints (knee and shoulder) but also has helped with sleeping and stress levels. It is a very welcoming and professional environment, I always walk out feeling so much better! Highly recommend.

I suffer from TMJ and had an immense about of pain with headaches. I went to see Dan and what can I say - I was out of pain almost instantly. Dan is very knowledgeable and was able to relieve my pain when nothing else had worked. I’m looking forward to continue seeing Dan for an overall holistic approach to my health.

I didn't think I would have been able to play but after your treatment and advice I was able to play my two games of futsal as normal and ended up scoring 8 goals ... My leg is feeling much better.

If only there was a way to add another star :-). This clinic has two incredible acupuncturists at its helm. As a patient of Su's I have been nurtured through some tough points in my life through her use of acupuncture, cupping, herbalism and essential oils. Su's approach to me, as a patient has always been to treat me as an individual with strengths and weaknesses and always with the utmost of love and kindness. Dan's gentle humour and soft laugh has often greeted me at reception and his genuine interest in my well being shows his integrity and care as a person and a healer. I can't say enough

I hadn’t ever had acupuncture before but I felt very comfortable and confident in dan’s hands. very thorough consultation before having the treatment to see what’s best for you. I have booked in again to try cupping next time and very much looking forward to it. if you have private health you can use it here. there is 2 hour street parking available but leave just a little extra time to find a park.
