Services
I graduated from the University of Newcastle in NSW with a Bachelor of Podiatry in 2009. Prior to this I spent 9 years working extensively as an Orthotic Technician. The experience manufacturing orthotics in both large scale orthotic laboratories and private practice has developed my expertise in the prescription, fabrication and patient fitting of orthotic devices.
Coolum Podiatry Solutions proudly supports "Shoes for Planet Earth", a charity that relies on community and company support to provide recycled running shoes to those in need around the world. We are always collecting joggers / running shoes that are then passed onto a local community group in need.
If you are covered for Podiatry under your private health fund's Extras cover, we can process your claim on the spot through our HICAPS facility. A GP referral (D904) is required for Gold and White card members prior to your appointment. Patients referred for podiatry care by their Doctor under a Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan are eligible for a rebate by Medicare.
Coolum Podiatry Solutions attends to all general skin and nail conditions of the feet and will seek to provide you with strategies to prevent them reoccurring. Nail Surgery is performed at Coolum Podiatry Solutions to permanently address ingrown toenails.
If you have an ingrown toenail that repeatedly gets infected or is continually painful and inhibits your ability to wear footwear comfortably, then a permanent procedure to remove a section of the toenail may be recommended.The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic so is virtually painless.

I would really like to recommend Luke and thank him so very much for improving my daily quality of life enormously. Using his custom fit orthotics, I can continue my love of walking and trekking. What is probably more important though, is I no longer shuffle around all day and can walk without pain. I thought the arthritic pain I experienced in my feet, on a regular basis was just something I had to learn to live. Now with these orthotics it’s as though I have new feet! I am very very grateful! After recently moving to the Sunshine Coast I'd been looking for a podiatrist that I felt comfortable with and had confidence in when I found Luke Navin at Coolum Podiatry Solutions. I've had a lot of problems with ingrown toenails for a number of years. Luke has recently performed nail surgery on the ingrown nails and I am very happy with the result and the care that I have received from Luke. After major surgery on my ankle and having to have it fused, I desperately needed professional knowledge, analysis of my impairment, remediation of my gait, the construction of specialised footwear and orthotics, as well as an understanding that my need was to get back walking and active again...... I was so lucky to be referred to Luke Navin B. Pod.,M.A.Pod.A, of Coolum Podiatry Solutions. His continued care through my recovery and now with my working and sporting interests has enabled me to continue to be physically active. As someone who has suffered from ingrown toenails over the years I have always dreaded going to a podiatrist as I knew it would be a painful experience. well that was until I met Luke at Coolum Podiatry Solutions. Luke explained clearly what my options were and went ahead with the chosen procedure in a profesional and friendly manner. And apart from a small jab of the needle to numb my toe, i didn't feel a thing! it was over quickly and my recovery was surprisingly pain free!!

Outstanding service and support. Amazing technical knowledge and humble willingness to support me in finding a solution to my pain. I would not hesitate taking my whole family to see CPS and am so happy that I found them. I have had debilitating pain I my feet off and on for years leading to severe pain in recent months. GP"s over the years couldn't help me except prescribe painkillers and could never tell me much about what was happening to my feet . 2 minutes with CPS and he tells me why I have pain, how we can fix it and what my feet and life will look like.
