Services
Langpark Medical Centre has been serving the community for over 40 years. Our highly experienced doctors provide quality medical care to individuals and families. The best way to do this is for you to have a regular doctor who knows you and your medical problems. At all times we will try to make sure that you can get an appointment with your regular doctor.
Here is a useful pre-pregnancy checklist to help ensure the healthiest start for your little one. It is best to avoid dental work in pregnancy, so organise a dental check before falling pregnant. Book in with your GP to discuss any existing health conditions, gynaecological conditions or medications being taken for either you or your partner.
Chronic Disease Management aims to plan and coordinate the health care of patients with chronic or terminal medical conditions, including patients with these conditions who require multidisciplinary, team-based care from a GP and at least two other health or care providers. Our Chronic Disease Co-ordinator, Kylie, will work with you to create a personalised management plan.
With Spring here we often find ourselves sniffling and sneezing. Hayfever can occur all year, however there is a peak in Spring with the increase in pollen in the air. Ensure you mention any medication, medical conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding. These can help with the sneezing and itching. Do NOT use for more than 5 days.
This is when you lose your ability to breathe normally. It can occur many times throughout the night. Those who have sleep apnoea generally snore. When you have an episode of sleep apnoea you will wake, even if you forget it, if this occurs multiple times through the night you can have a very disrupted sleep.

Reception staff Sue, rude & unable to follow clear requests regarding getting an important referral for elderly, fragile Mum in a timely manner to an appointment in time twice, causing unnecessary stress for everyone. Followed by Practice manager, Julie’s inability to acknowledge her staff member at fault and quite unempathetic of the vulnerable elderly.
Dr Catherine Stackpole’s inappropriate clinical errors of professional judgment with basic diagnosis, 4 times within 6 months of Mum’s care, thankfully overridden by Dr Rob Lewis on 2 occasions, left us with no choice but to leave this less

I've been attending Langpark Medical Centre for 20 years, and for the most part have seen Drs Rob Lewis and David Manton depending on availability. They're fantastic doctors, highly experienced, thorough, extremely caring and professional. My 3 adult children and grandson also attend and they wouldn't consider going anywhere else. My two daughters have chronic health conditions and require close, regular follow-up care. Staff go above and beyond to ensure they're seen on any given day should they need an urgent appointment and the doctors are always prepared to consult at short notice. It's a great

I saw Dr Rob Lewis some time ago and he wanted nothing to do with me. He was smug, pretentious, callous and dismissive. My mum was extremely disappointed because we went to the doctors to get help but he didn't want anything to do with me. He also misdiagnosed me problem (which was incorrect and highly offensive) and wouldn't even give a referral. All he wanted to do was to see the backs of us. It was so unprofessional, but luckily we found a doctor who was fantastic but in that moment, Dr. Lewis heightened our anxiety and his conduct was nothing short of unethical. I feel that doctors are meant

I have been a patient here along with my family for about 15years. I am always, treated with courtesy and respect. All the Drs and receptionists are friendly and professional. Having moved away, I still travel for three hours in order to maintain my health with people I like and have 100% confidence in. Thankyou team.

The Best Medical Centre on the Peninsula! Been attending this surgery since the very beginning and can only say how wonderful and helpful all the staff are. I have watched the practice grow over the years and more doctors join the team. The centre has the same staff and friendly faces making it a pleasant experience when your not well. Michele L.

Doctors are very good but they need to work on their waiting room ettiquette. Been here 4 times and on 2 of those visits the doctor was seriously behind. This didn't come up on the automatic check in on either occasion and it was only on enquiring that reception confirmed the doctor was running an hour behind both times.
I understand the different responses that certain cases need but having someone show a little courtesy by informing waiting patients of whats going on isn't too much to ask.
And to the commentator, a doctor can be behind for various reasons, from a patient emergency to another
