Cheesy Garlic Bread came out 3 mins after ordering, it was barely even cooked and was cold then waited 40 mins for our steak and snitty which were yum but didn't get meal check at all even tho only one bit of bread was half eaten.

Stayed here for a night. The room was comfortable and clean, although the bathroom is pretty dated and small. We had a nice view over the lake. The bar is good with a decent selection of beers and some ok wines, but we found the restaurant a bit hit and miss. We dined with another couple and the guys each ordered the $44 rib eye steak and girls got the crispy skin salmon. We immediately regretted the steaks. At $44 it was by far the worst steak I have ever had at that price point. Both steaks were incredibly fatty and way undercooked. I ordered medium but it was very rare and sinewy. It was apparently

The Gunyah! This is a really cool space and the official place my partner and I do 'date night' when we want to splash out but also want to support a local business.
So let's talk food and drink and what you can expect..
The menu has a great variety of choices for the cultured Novocastrian palette. Pastas, Salads, Seafoods and Burgers (which are the stars of the ''show'') hold a lot of variety including Vegan options and kid-friendly options for little grubbers.
In terms of pricing, I think very well thought and reasonably priced. You definitely pay for what you get.
