Tom is a Nutritionist & Exercise Scientist specialising in body recomposition for general population clients. He has been working with private clients since 2014 and has coached hundreds of clients through personal training and online coaching. Kick Start helps you develop a training and nutrition regime and implement key strategies from The Rules Of Recomposition into your lifestyle. It is ideal for people getting back into the gym or looking to start a new routine.

This 10-week training program is designed specifically for people who have a gym membership but don't yet feel comfortable in there. Gym 101 progressively builds your confidence inside the gym to allow you to feel more comfortable in this training environment. You will start out with simple cardio machine exercises such as treadmill walking and progressively increase your repertoire to include resistance training machines and free weights.

Tom introduced me to weight training and I couldn't be happier. He has showed me a way of training and an approach to nutrition that is very sustainable and produced results!
He definitely knows his stuff and was able to answer so many questions I had about the science behind the training and nutrition.
After the 4 weeks of training with Tom I was able to reach my goal of doing an unassisted pull up, which was really motivating!

When I started I was very apprehensive and more than a bit overwhelmed at the idea of having someone realise how unfit I was, however through training with Tom that has changed and I'm now excited to try new and unfamiliar exercises, including lifting weights! Tom's approach is friendly and relaxed, he makes a point of training you against you own skills and goals, maintaining a pragmatic approach and honesty in his coaching. Tom is a great coach!! He worked with my personal goals of gaining strength and making the gym a weekly habit for me again. Have been doing body composition work with Tom for six months now. Tom is super knowledgeable and shares his insights at each session, whether it's technique, nutrition or the purpose of the exercise and what it will achieve. Having a trainer that knows his stuff has kept me motivated because I'm learning as well as seeing physical results. Getting results and really learning about health and fitness are both important factors when choosing a training and you'll get this with Tom.

Tom has been a fantastic personal trainer. Tom got me fitter than I expected, and feeling comfortable in the gym (it always felt really intimidating before, even with other trainers). When I was unable to train due to an extended illness I really missed the training, and Tom's input - I was amazed at what Tom was able to get me to do.
I had used personal trainers before who pushed me so hard I couldn't walk out of the gym, without much increase in fitness or strength. Tom's approach had me fitter and stronger in a fairly short period of time, and I didn't have any trouble with walking.

I started training with Tom about 4 months ago and have absolutely loved it.My goal is to lose weight and become more fit but as a beginner, I did not know where to start. It has crossed my mind to join a chain-gym but it feels intimidating and I knew I would lose my motivation quickly.

Tom is a very perceptive trainer. I was mostly happy with my program, but wanted to make refinements and form corrections to overcome plateaus and injuries.
Tom was enthusiastic and explained the science and mechanics behind all the exercises we went through. I got a ton out of our sessions and highly recommend him as a trainer who puts his clients first.

I've trained for a few years with different trainers and spoken to different people about diet. Tom has an extensive knowledge of all areas of fitness and nutrition and he really set me on track with the areas I wanted to work on. Highly recommend giving him a call to either start your fitness or keep it going!
