Services
Define Fitness is a community of people with a focus on an "inclusive and mindfully active community." We are a mixture of clients, staff and community organisations all past and present. This community is called our #definefitnessfamily. In 2010, we decided to expand our services further and started taking Personal Training sessions and Group Fitness classes in the great outdoors in Tuggeranong, Belconnen and Woden.
At Define Fitness Canberra, we have a passionate and well connected community that focus on the most positive relationships with each other. We are a team that is collectively focused on achieving above and beyond when it comes to our clients health and well-being. We work towards a pecific Vision that is dictated by our Mission and 5 Defining Values.
A session with our experienced Define Fitness personal trainers will include running, jogging and plyometrics. Also known as "jump training", plyometrics are exercises based around having muscles exert maximum force in as short a time as possible, with the goal of increasing both speed and power. We also include body weight exercises, resistance tubing exercises, battle ropes, light dumbbell and kettle bell work.
At Define Fitness, we aim to push our clients to reach their potential. We motivate and encourage them to do better. When our clients achieve a goal, we celebrate their achievement. Because of this, we now have our very own prescribed, tried and tested pre and post testing workouts. We call these our benchmark workouts.
Regardless of your exercise experience, every client is required to learn the Define Fitness "Defining Movements." By becoming proficient with these movements, not only will it allow you to integrate with our Define Fitness family faster, it will help your fitness progression be faster. Once you understand the movements and do them well, we can then add weight and speed.

When I explained my personal situation and needs, Binnie listened, adjusted my sessions to work around my physical limitations. I've been going too Define Fitness group classes for 2 year now. They have helped me achieve my weight loss and fitness goals. There group fitness classes are tough and fun at the same time but are suitable for all fitness levels. The best part of Define Fitness is not just Group fitness session, yoga and personal training but the incredible team at Define fitness lead by Nathan who have built an amazing community that is so supportive of each other that I now consider them as friends and family. I’ve had personal trainers at high street gyms for 15 years and switched to Define 7 years ago to work around family life. I love it, it’s relaxed but professional, has a great mix of trainers with different skills. I was recently injured and loads of the trainers offered support, ideas and recommendations to get me back on the road. It’s a good mix of members, you can ether keep yo yourself and your trainer or join fun runs with a wider group a few times a year. Great place to train with a fabulous and supportive atmosphere. All of the clients are working with a personal trainer so none of the normal groups of people posing in your way. Other trainers and clients are supportive with a great range of styles amongst the trainers. The only gym I have stuck with.
