Disappointing pork shank, dry and was clearly lacking the same standards as previous years. Burger buns not toasted. Music was so loud that conversations in the dining area was impossible. The overall experience and vibe has changed, I was very embarrassed to recommend this place for my fathers birthday.

My 3rd visit to Elmar’s since the last one in 2019. Was very disappointed this time with their Signature Pork Shank. We were surprised it came out so fast, minutes after we ordered. The skin was not crispy and the meat tasted salty and stale. It made us wonder if it was an overnight leftover that’s reheated. The sauerkraut was so mushy that it’s like having puree. Overall, not satisfied with our meal. Service is still good which is why I give a 2 star instead of 1.

We have been eating at Elmar's many times, may be once every 6-12 months, food is still good. Today, we orders a Elmar's platter that can fill up 4 adults easily for $129.
I am not a beer drinker so cannot comment on their home brewed beer.
Nice place to attend for casual lunch or dinner or functions.

Went to this place for lunch and had the Elmar's Bratwurst Plate Trio. Three different types of sausages and mash. Tasted good. Was about 36 dollars.
The place is good for small kids. There is a large grassed area at the back and a small playground.

Great atmosphere for the family, the live music is a great touch. Little ones loved the grass area at the back. The playground could be bigger but the kids don’t mind. Have free wifi but when I asked non of the staff know the password.
Good serving size and of course perfectly cook chips. Overall a good day out for the family.

A family oriented Bayern beer restaurant. Enjoyed some German delicacy like Schnitzel, Slow cooked pork and of course taps on hot summer day. The beer tastes like true German style.

We did the Groupon voucher for dinner. It was everything I had heard about and hoped for. The wait staff were amazing and very friendly. The location is stunning, and the food was to die for. I had the Pork Shank (warning it is huge) and my Girlfriend had the Sirloin steak. After having the Anti Pasto are as a starter neither of us could finish our Mains. All in all, very impressed and will definitely be back

The place was very quiet on a Thursday noon. We ordered the pork shank and sausages for the three of us. This was my second visit, last time with a bigger group. The pork shank was delicious as I had remembered. Skin crispy and the right amount of fats in between. The meat was quite tender. We were satisfied with it. However the sausages were salty. We couldn’t finish them. Overall the dining experience was good. Just hope that we make the right choices on dishes next time.

Yay there's an Elmar's south of the river! Elmar's have a wonderful brewery and restaurant in the Swan Valley. The German deli in Myaree sells all of their delicious sausages, liverwurst, cold cuts and Bratwurst.

All of Elmar's products are gluten free and expect to find the sausages filled with meat and herbs. No nasty colours or flavours. The beechwood chips for smoking the delectable meats are shipped in from Germany and pesticide free.

We left with 4 sausages for under $12.00. Its definitely a treat! The Black Forest ham is delicious in summer with a salad. I cannot
