If you are planning to visit Western Australia's Swan Valley you can be assured that you will enjoy quality German-style dining and premium hand-crafted beer set in the most pleasant surroundings. The Duckstein Brewery was one of the pioneers of craft brewing in Western Australia's popular Swan Valley where it continues to offer a traditional German dining experience and live music on most weekends.

The Duckstein Brewery is a fantastic venues for a relaxed get-together for family, friends or work colleagues. We provide a range of small or large function options for your birthday, work party, sporting groups or bucks/hens day. Our functions co-ordinator can tailor a food and beverage package to suit your budget and level of formality.
Services
Duckstein Pilsener is brewed in the style of continental German Pilsners, using soft water, lightly kilned German malt and Tettnanger aroma hops. The bitterness is pronounced at around 35 BUs, but still allows the malt characters to appear. The colour is a light straw. The yeast used for the style gives strong clove, banana and vanilla aromas while the flavour is dominated by the wheat malt.
Our Beers are made through the tradition of Reinheitsgebot - the Purity Law of 1516 - where only water, malt and hops are used to produce beer. With only these natural ingredients and without any additives or chemicals, you can be assured you are drinking excellence in a glass. Classic Burger beef patty, tomato, cheese, lettuce, Dunkel beer onion, pickles, aioli served with fries.

We booked this place for my father's 82nd birthday
a month in advance and they just decided to cancel the reservation and close the place without telling us "due to COVID-19". Needless to say the 2 hour return trip to get there and home wasn't worth it. Disappointing Won't be coming back.

Delicious food, staff were attentive and atmosphere was good considering there was few people there at the early time we decided to have dinner. The pork bites were a highlight! The bar staff member knew his products and was very friendly, he offered tasting so we could decide on the best option for us. I was impressed overall with our dinner.

$70 for a pork knuckle I would have thrown out at home. The pork knuckle was super chewy and the crackle wasnt crispy except for about 5% of it. Needless to say it was very disappointing for a place we have previously loved the food from

Good all round. Each dish we had was great but usually lacking in one component (hence 4 ⭐️ only).
Nice beer garden reminiscent of my stay in Munich during Okfest.

Great entertainment, friendly staff, and huge servings. Menu had a range of options for all tastes. Will come again for group bookings.
Note that there is an open smoking area to the back of the restaurant. If booking with kids suggest requesting a table away from this area.

The food was amazing! Pork knuckles for 2-3 pax at $69.90 was excellent and we also order a platter of different sausages to share. The beer was very nice. Whilst the food is very good, there are some drawbacks if you are looking for a more child friendly place, this may not be it. I was driving into the driveway with a drunken guy who couldn’t walk straight into the place and this was 1230pm on a Saturday. Additionally the place is slightly run down but still in good working condition and the space feels a bit cramp. I completely understand there are buses bringing in people who wish to have

Yum yum yum. We had the pork knuckle to share and it was big and delicious. The potatoes, the saurkurat and the red cabbage all complimented the meat well. The beer tasting plater was good to.
