I’d have to strongly disagree with the negative comment about how the centre handles asthma! Both my sons have asthma and attend the centre (ones at school now) and the staff were amazing at managing this.
As a parent I’d not hesitate to collect my child if the educators who know him and spend every day with him deem it necessary. Some parents might not like it but kids come first. I’ve found that the staff love my children are well educated on his asthma signs and always give the best quality of care and attention.
Would recommend.

Unfortunately had to rip my toddler from this centre who suffers Asthma quite severely.
Instead of treating it, he was constantly sent home.
At 1 point I was spending more time at the doctors surgery getting clearance then actually working.
They always said he had been treated and I believed that until I got back his puffer and seen that it was at full capacity. Never been used.
The most recent he had a coughing fit which required to give him his puffer. Instead he was sent home and it was demanded that he be tested for covid. Which they knew he didn't have, just couldn't ve bothered treating

I have worked in the ECE industry for over 20 years within several different centres, and can say without doubt that Cardinia Lakes ELC is amazing.
The educators are highly qualified, passionate and caring, providing families with a homely environment rich with endless educational experiences for children across all ages.
As a parent, who has a child also attending the centre, I can think of nowhere else I would rather have my child attend.
She looks forward to attending and runs in with excitement, where she is greeted with loving open arms, as are ALL of the children and families who attend

As an educator, I highly recommend this centre. A very clean, safe and family atmosphere with most educators holding bachelor's degree or working towards which helps providing a high quality learning experiences to our children. All the educators and management are very friendly and easy approachable.

I have worked at a few centres over the past 7 years as an educator and I would absolutely say that Cardinia lakes is by far the greatest, the management is fantastic. Treats staff as equals and their commitment to quality care for the children is 110% they go above and beyond. I also have my own son in the centre and when I started I was concerned as it was just him and I for 2 years at home but the whole team made him and me feel so comfortable and me as a parent enjoy my day knowing he was in the best hands. My son loves going to child care always smiling and laughing he has grown and developed

Having worked in early childhood education for over 20+ years I am proud to currently support the expert team at Cardinia Lakes ELC with their program and practice.
It is rare to find an early learning setting that is family owned and run that makes such an investment in the quality of the educational program provided and invests in the skill and qualifications of its team. It is for both of these reasons that I choose to travel out to Pakenham each week driving past many many Centres on my way. It is also the reason why both of my children attend this early learning centre and continue to do

I made a last minute decision to move my son to Cardinia Lakes for Kinder. Chase just loves Carly so much & as soon as he saw her the day we went for a tour he ran into her arms. Now with the change in Kinder teachers I have found that Chase has started to progress with his learning. I feel that Kelsey, Bianca & Carly all work so well together. I can't wait to see what the next 3 terms have in store.

Early education is about a range of things. Working together with families and community, striving to increase understanding and respect for children and the sector. It is beautiful, inspiring and empowering to see all these factors come together in this service. Leadership is building others to believe that can and supporting them to do more than the individual believed possible. This is what and how early education should be.
