The Normanville Hotel was established in 1851 by Dr Robert Norman, making it one of South Australia's oldest Hotels. It is also one of the longest continuously family operated hotels in South Australia, having been owned and operated by members of our family since 1973. It continues to be an important local landmark and meeting place for locals and visitors to the region alike.

We are strongly committed to the provision of responsible service of alcohol and gambling services. We have a continuing focus on showcasing fresh, quality products sourced from local Fleurieu Coast suppliers. Our chefs delight in using quality local products in our delicious meals and our bottleshop continues to feature wines from the Southern Fleurieu Wine Region.

Went to the normy on holiday with my partner expecting it to be an average pub with average food. Was the complete opposite to what I was expecting, easily the best pub I've been too with the food beverages (specifically the beer tastings to offer) and the staff being extremely friendly. Another bonus to this pub is the locals who seem to flock to this place as it was very popular every night we went. Would highly recommend.

Very average experience unfortunately, we left feeling somewhat ripped off due to our poor experience.
The staff were friendly but it's the over priced menu and poor servings of the food that wont see us return here again.
When you pay "top dollar" and receive small average tasting meals especially the small kids meals @ $15, it leaves a sour taste in our mouths and an empty wallet.
Takeaway places near by offer amazing food at a 1/3rd the cost
The place was quiet and i think we know why!

It took them an entire hour after our order to tell our friend that their Pork Sausages would be late because they ran out of vegies and we're trying to find more. They clearly knew way earlier that it was going to be late but they weren't telling us anything. Ruined the experience.

After we nearly fell through the bottom of the sagging chairs in the dining area, we ordered from the limited menu.
My partner and I each ordered a steak "medium rare". Mum ordered hers "medium".
In due time our meals arrived.
You know that lovely caramelised texture on the outside of your steak that makes it completely irresistible? We didn't get that.
Apparently, "medium rare" means "stick it in a warm pan for a couple of minutes, until it goes grey on the outside". "Medium" on the other hand, means "cook it until it's good and hard. The jaw workout is an added bonus".

Great little pub. Enjoyed a tasting paddle of really good local craft beers. The food was excellent. I had the crumbled Flat Head with chips and salad and my partner had the steak and mushroom pie.

Good food made by good people. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. A real historic venue and the stone walls add to the feel. No echoing blank cafe walls anywhere to be seen making conversation easy. The Calamari and Schnitzel is an easy choice while the Greek Salad is a happy mix not just lettuce. Good selection of beer.

Had a lovely meal with fantastic service from Princess and Rob. Rob especially made us feel like welcomed locals during our two day stay in the area. We visited the history of the area and enjoyed especially the recent family history of the Hotel.
