Great views and food!
Staff however do not look like they want to be there. Upon arriving, we stood there for about 2 minutes before an older gentleman (may be the owner?) approached us and took us to our table. Service was also beyond par. Hopefully management will see the trend of reviews regarding their staff.

My most recent visit was the most disappointing by far and it is primarily due to the attitude I received when paying. We ordered three steaks (only one was cooked right but it took so long to get the order the table decided to just eat it) two whiting and a pork belly. When we got the whiting, both serves were one piece for $35. When I commented on the disappointing serving size when paying, I was met with a very defensive attitude by the server stating I should have said something when it came out and it was too late to discuss. I questioned well it does not state how many pieces in a serving

What a fantastic experience and well worth the trip from the City or burbs to sample the fantastic menu and substantial wine holdings.
A smart, modern and perfectly executed menu that caters for all.
A journey into the wine cellar to handpick a back vintage is every wine lovers dream, and a unique experience like no other gastropub in town.

Came here for a Christmas party recently, which was hosted in the cellar. Such a beautiful room for a long table event! Very photogenic. The food was okay - but it seemed to be unnecessarily complicated by mixing flavours that didn't feel like they quite worked. I'd much rather have a classic combination done very expertly than a meal that's trying to be fancy and missing the mark. The wines were delicious, and I very much appreciated the fantastic service from bar and waiting staff. All together I would recommend this place for a function based on the delicious view, aesthetic cellar, nice drinks

Nice spot, we sat outside and the sunset views were gorgeous, the food was mostly good although my meat was quite charred and even obviously burnt in some areas, considering I ordered medium rare, I was a bit surprised by the thick charred crust that had a burnt taste, I am all for flame grilled and having a charred look on a nice cut of meat but this was more than that, quite a thick crumbly black crust that did not taste nice, meat was also a bit fatty, everything else on the plate was nice enough, although, the staff seemed quite flustered and unorganised with our large table booking and it

We came as a group of 8. The 2 guys who were bar staff were lovely, food aside from the steak was fantastic. 2 steaks were overcooked. The waitress with short hair who didn't look like she was in work attire (denim is not appropriate no matter the workplace) was just plain rude! If I break it down, 1 star for the amazing croquettes, 1 star for the spring rolls and 1 star for the cold drinks! Also staff should be mindful and respectfully request patrons supervise their children. We sat outside and the children (and some adults) just zipped and unzipped the cafe blinds behind us all night to go in

Outstanding venue on so many levels.
Had the Wagyu Sirloin medium rare. Probably the best steak Ive ever had. The chicken spring rolls were outstanding. Real ingredients, cooked and presented really well. I would come back just for them.
No oil soaked glop here.
All at the table were suitably impressed with what they had.
Only gripe is there was no on tap dark beer option and no imperial pints. Not enough to stop me from coming back though.
The fussiest of foodies would be happy here.

Food was amazing but service really let the place down. Two young men serving, one behind the bar and the other making coffee were lovely but they were the brightest of the bunch. Went to the bar to order, was told they would come to the table and send someone right over.... i guess right away means over 5 minutes to some people. Tried to attract attention and was blanked a few times. Luckily the food was worth the visit.
