Wendy Henriks (BMgmt HonsPsych PostGradDipPsychTh) is Rainbow Care Psychology's owner and Principal Psychologist. She is a registered psychologist who has a special interest in children, adolescents, & families. She also works with adults and couples. First registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency in 2006, Wendy has worked in community based settings, in schools, as well as private practice.

Rainbow Care Psychology offers Cognitive/Intelligence assessment packages to reveal a child or teen's cognitive strengths and weaknesses, or to assist with the identification of Giftedness, an Intellectual Disability, Learning Disorders, or a Severe Language Disorder (combined with a speech pathologist assessment).
Sometimes a parent may become aware that their child is displaying some unusual behaviours or delays. This may include repetitive movements, little eye contact, restricted interests, lack of creative play, Anxiety, parallel play, lining things up often, a delay in speech and/or motor skills, lack of facial expressions and emotional understanding for their age, amongst other symptoms.
The Gottman Method Couples Therapy is science-based relationship counselling grounded in over 40 years of research by John and Julie Gottman. The method is based on the Sound Relationship House Theory which analyses and builds skills in the following areas of your relationship/marriage: Friendship and admiration, conflict management, shared life goals and meaning, trust and commitment.
