Our Podiatry team treat a range of general conditions including; ingrown toenails, corns & calluses, fungal toenail infections, nail problems, cracked heels, warts, blisters and other infections.

During a routine podiatry appointment, we will cut and file your toenails as well as clear any build up of dead skin or debris from under and around the nail itself and then pay attention to any specific issues to come up with a further treatment plan if necessary.
Heidelberg Podiatry are experts in prescribing and fitting foot orthotics to treat a range of issues seen in the foot and lower limb. Foot orthotics are very commonly worn by many people ranging from children to adults and elite athletes and the right orthotic can help manage and treat many biomechanical issues, reduce stress and tension forces on muscles, joints and ligaments in the lower body.

Having Diabetes may increase your likelihood of developing diabetes related nerve damage called peripheral neuropathy or poor circulation to the feet known as peripheral vascular disease. Peripheral neuropathy affects how you feel pressure or pain on your feet and may lead to numbness of the feet.

I highly recommend Heidelberg Podiatry and in particular the professionalism and knowledge of Julian. He not only spent additional time explaining my various questions but also provided helpful tips to getting the best out of my orthotics. In my search for a podiatrist, to assess my need for new orthotics, I had received a lot of conflicting advice. Unlike some of the other clinics, after speaking with Julian I felt he provided honest recommendations without trying to over sell the service. In addition, it was the extra little bits provided in the service that isn't necessary but show intent towards
