We pride ourselves on our punctual appointment times as we appreciate your time is just as important as ours. We also offer out of hours appointments with many clients happy with the pre work/school or after hours appointments available.
Services
As part of a general podiatry appointment services that might be provided include; cutting / filing nails as they may be too hard, too long or too far away for self treatment. We commonly treat older people as they are unable to manage their own foot care. We also debride any callus and enucleate corns and treat ingrown toe nails and warts as part of a general treatment.
Wear cotton socks and shoes made of leather or natural materials - not synthetics - sandals are good. Change shoes daily to allow them to dry out - it takes up to 24 hours for footwear to dry out!. Tinea refers to a group of fungal infections affecting the skin or nails which thrives on warm / moist environments (such as the feet).
Podiatrists are tertiary qualified and are the only health care professional whose total training focuses on the foot, ankle and related body systems. Our feet are made up of 52 bones and a network of muscles, joints and ligaments. As a specialist in foot care, the podiatrist receives 4 years training in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of foot and ankle disorders.

I had never been to a podiatrist before and was dreading the day to go. Not knowing what to expect, I had sore feet with Callous and warts and Emma removed them with zero pain. In fact it was quite relaxing. You don’t realise how good it feels once you have been treated. Thanks Emma, big fan of podiatry now.
