My first encounter with digestive problems came long before I trained in nutrition, when I got 'Bali Belly' on a summer break. That holiday experience lived on in my gut for 5 years. Moving from Australia to London to further my hectic corporate career and travel widely didn't help. Constant stress started to impact how I ate and felt.
IBS is a common digestive condition, with symptoms of abdominal pain or discomfort, wind, bloating and a change in bowel habit such as chronic diarrhoea or frequent constipation. I have been seeing Kym for over two months. She is an great nutritionist. Kym's methods are backed by nutritional science. I have attained my goals (less bloating), without any fad dieting. Kym teaches you how to support your body through food and helps you feel great. She also teaches you to tap into your own body’s signals to better understand what is right for you. She works with you on the reduction of life stressors and on minimizing factors that make you tense and put your body in a survival mode standstill. I wish I had found this practice and began working with Kym a long time ago.
