Grant grew up in Grange and went to St. Columba's Primary School at Wilston as a young boy. He has played soccer for Newmarket Soccer Club and Grange Thistle Soccer Club. He lives in the area and his parents still live in the house he grew up in! His memories of growing up in Grange were always going to bring him back so that he can serve this community.
He graduated from the University of Queensland in 2009 with his Bachelor of Dental Science and believed he would be able to not only fix teeth and gums, but that he would be able help to prevent oral health problems in the first place. After 8 years of working in various private dental practices, he realised that he was fixing plenty of teeth, but not solving the problems that he thought he would.

Receiving regular preventative professional cleaning and polishing can reduce your risk of developing gum disease. This is because plaque and calculus can build up below your gumline where you cannot clean it off yourself. Only dental professionals can remove this build up for you, helping to prevent gum disease.
Unfortunately, when a root canal is necessary, it is often the case that a patient is already suffering from a toothache or inflamed nerve inside their tooth. Sometimes, this inflammation inside the nerve causes the anaesthetic to be less effective. At Method Dental, we'll work with you closely to give you the best chance of the anaesthetic working in these acutely painful situations.
Sometimes, fillings are not strong enough to restore your tooth and allow it to function regularly. Crowns and Onlays are made out of materials that are stronger than regular filling materials and may be appropriate for heavily damaged teeth. Some dentists, like us at Method Dental, use an Australian Dental Laboratory to make their crowns out of strong ceramic materials.

I have been visiting the team at Method for nearly 4 years. Everyone is so warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive. I am very nervous when having my teeth attended to, but they always have my favourite animal documentaries on the ceiling ready to go! Justin, you are the MAN! Best Dentist I have ever experienced and so unbelievably gentle. I still can’t believe I didn’t feel the injections. Considering I have always avoided dentists with years between visits but I am now happy to do my 6 monthly checkups every 5 months is saying something! I can’t thank you all enough, I was put at ease from the moment I walked in. 5 stars is all I can give on here but seen as my name is KAREN this has to be worth at least 10 stars! Been twice with my Bub for a regular check up. Dr Justin is very professional and understand child’s behaviour and pretty good at what he does.
My 2 year old kid felt comfortable and let the doctor do a check up and all procedure, I was impressed.
Thank you reception staff for being friendly and entertaining. Overall positive experience , will be back for the next check up🙂

Jasmin and Grant have always made trips to the dentist comfortable and easy. Before seeing Grant, I had always put of going to the dentist because of my fear. But Grant is caring and kind, allows me to settle in before starting any treatment. I now have 6 monthly check ups thanks to Grant. Thank you both for the fantastic care. After recently moving from interstate a friend recommended Method Dental. Both my daughter and I had appointments with Dr Justin, he was absolutely amazing with our 6 year old. Justin made my daughter very relaxed and explained everything to her, this helped calm her nerves and made seeing the dentist an enjoyable experience. Justin even makes balloons animals at the end of the appointment which my daughter loved.

Dr Grant has been amazing with both of my young boys. Always makes them feel comfortable and makes everything about teeth and the dentist fun! He never forces them to do anything they are not comfortable with. My eldest has gone from not getting in the chair to now being totally stoked about visiting the “tooth doctor”!
Jasmine is always greeting my boys with a wonderful smile and always comes to sit down and chat with them - which makes the experience even more comfortable for them.

Would recommend these guys without hesitation. Our previous dentist (my childhood neighbor) moved to Bundaberg so we needed a new dentist for the whole family, this had just opened down the road so we gave it a try. Now we are all customers and he did my daughters first visit (age 4) and it went great. We’ll all be back.
