I had been going to Dental Wellness for a while and had been happy with the service. Staff are welcoming and friendly and it's a calm atmosphere. I was getting my teeth cleaned and checked every 6 months as I have a history of teeth problems. 2 weeks after my latest hygienist appointment, I noticed a large lump in the roof of my mouth behind my front tooth. I booked another appointment to get it checked out and, some expensive tests later, was told that my tooth was dead with a large infection, to the point where it was at risk of killing the tooth next to it as well. I went here seeking advise on implants and other issues I ended up having front teeth remooved for a number of reasons although Dr David was good he couldn't help me with all of my issues and was limited to what he practises and is comfortable with I did however find the cost EXTREMELY pricey, and was a bit over whelmed with the cost of treatment … I'm fully aware of dental practises and there costing, but just could not justify the prices on certain treatments that I had I was also a bit disappointed with having to pay upfront $100 for the initial consultation, and was a bit taken back

It is so hard to find a Holistic Dentist and it was well worth the trip from the Gold Coast to Brisbane to be treated by Dr David Cowhig and his Team . Dr Cowhig is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to health and caring for your teeth and mouth . He has state of the art equipment including the most amazing X-ray machine from Germany which… shows him so much more about the health of your teeth , fillings , crowns and mouth etc than the old X-rays did . At my visit today I was also treated by the wonderful Hygenist Jo and had a scale and clean , Jo was so gentle and It didn’t hurt

5 STARS. I can't recommend Dental Wellness enough! The team are world class! David is incredible, he knows so much. He could read my partner's entire health history after just one consultation. I was so nervous as I hadn't been to a dentist for a while but everyone made me feel so comfortable. What a relief to find a dentist that is the real deal… who is actually holistic- not just throwing the term around and when you get there you find they aren't at all. I have recommended so many people to go here and they all have had the same experience as my partner and I. It's a whole body approach

What a wonderful experience I had today with Dr. Cowhig and the team at Dental Wellness. I sought out a holistic dentist to assess a root canal I have concerns about. Dr. Cowhig conducted a full history of what may be causing certain health concerns and then went on to assess and conduct tests to ascertain the integrity of the root canal. True to the term ‘holistic’, I came away feeling Dr. Cowhig took a holistic view of my dental health and then subsequently put together a plan moving forward. I highly recommend Dr. Cowhig and his team.

I have been wanting to have my amalgams out for some time and have been looking for a holistic dentist who cares enough to take all the precautions. At last I found Dr Cowhig and had my initial consultation yesterday. I am excited and look forward to further treatment and am prepared to drive 5 hours to get there. The dentist, hygienist and office girls were all so lovely.

I really enjoyed my experience with the team at Dental Wellness. All the staff, especially Dr Tom (as he was who inspected my teeth from a wholistic perspective) were very understanding, thorough, positive, were able to explain in detail what I needed and why I needed it and exceptional value for money. You hear of exorbitant dental cost and here I was pleasantly surprised. Cheap is not the word, however I didn't feel as though I was being taken advantage of and this was very nice. I'm now excited for my transformation with my treatment plan in place and I look forward to going back.

Yesterday was my first visit to Dental Wellness and I was very impressed. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing and the staff are welcoming. I truly wish I had come to this practice years ago. Dr Cowhig is extremely knowledgeable and really does demonstrate a wholistic approach to dental health. He is also very calm and friendly and easy to talk to.
