Services
Your initial visit will be a thorough 30-45 minute consultation, with return visits being 30 minutes. We will take a history of your problem and how it's affecting your daily life, then undertake a detailed examination to help diagnose the specific source of the problem. Using this information, we'll come up with a multi-modal treatment plan to address the issue.
Physiotherapy aims to restore proper functioning to the body or, in the case of permanent disease or injury, to reduce the impact of any dysfunction. Treatment options include a wide range of manual therapies, exercise programs, electrotherapy techniques and airway clearance techniques, tailored to your specific condition.
Headaches and neckaches are often a by-product of muscle tightness and joint stiffness through areas of the neck and upper back, and can present for a number of reasons. Most commonly, headaches will be caused by issues such as stress, muscle tightness, workstation set-up (for office workers), poor posture, jaw dysfunction, or as a result of injuries such as whiplash; a common issue following motor vehicle accidents.
Osteoarthritis is a degenerative condition that mostly affects the hands, spine and joints such as hips, knees and ankles. It affects about 8% of the population, predominantly women. Physiotherapy is a conservative and effective management tool for this condition.

Best Physio i’ve seen in Brisbane! Professional and knowledgeable team, who don’t mind a chat and laugh. Never a minute behind schedule and their practice manager Lauren is a huge help at reception. Matt is very attentive and listens to all of my concerns and helps accordingly. Explains everything in terms I can make sense of and pushes me just the right amount to achieve results without causing added pain (which I have found very rare in physios). I highly recommend the Qld Physio team and Matt to anyone!

I have been seeing Ian for a few years now. He is always able to quickly put me back on a mend 😉
Ian has great knowledge and lots of experience, he doesn’t mind spending time addressing your problem, you don’t feel rushed.
Good listener and very attentive
Also very convenient to be able to book appointments online, saves me time.
I would highly recommend him to anyone

After seeing more physio's then i care to admit, and each having horrible experiences of the usual "looks at you for 5mins, prints out all the exercises from the internet and charges you $130" i found Qld Physio. Ian Alberts is possibly the most skilled and friendly physio i have ever met. just a 30min session relieves all the pain and tension in my back and neck from a birth defect. the whole session is completely hands on. i can honestly say ian is quite possible the best physio in brisbane and even one of the cheapest. i would and have highly recommended him to everyone i know. and his newest

Queensland Physiotherapy has a very refreshing contemporary design and feel to it. Upon entering, there is a relaxed atmosphere with comfortable couches and a good sized television to watch near reception.
Ian has an easy going, caring and friendly nature. He has a strong desire to help all his clients with his vast knowledge in physiotherapy. His passion for all sports and general topics makes for great conversation.
