Services
Each of our physiotherapists in the Active Care team have played and competed in high level sporting competition, which means we understand your goals and needs when it comes to returning to your chosen sport. We have a wide variety of knowledge and experience in various sporting codes and will be able to relate to yours.
Kent graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Human Movement Studies) and from Podiatry at QUT. During this time Kent took special interest in exercise and conditioning training. Kent has a personal interest in, and has participated in many sports including rugby, athletics, tennis and jogging.
Active Care Physiotherapy Capalaba has an experienced team of allied health practitioners who have been providing physiotherapy and other services to the Redlands and surrounding areas of Brisbane since 1993. During this time we have developed a reputation as one of the best physiotherapy clinics in Brisbane and South East Queensland.
Active Care Physiotherapy Chermside has a skilled team of physiotherapists who have been providing treatments and rehabilitation to the North Brisbane and surrounding area since 1997. The clinic is located in the same building as the Chermside Medical Complex and we have developed great relationships with other local GPs and medical clinics.

Following a knee replacement it was impossible for me to get out of the house and I'm forever grateful to Nick for coming by to see me at home.
He is an excellent physiotherapist and is very experienced and thorough. I had a few minor setbacks in my rehab (dropped a lap top on my foot), but Nick always knew the problem and with a bit of hands on therapy I was able to keep improving and well on the way now to a successful post op outcome (takes a lot of work!) I hear his staff are excellent too, but haven't used any of them myself.

Wonderful & friendly staff! Have been seeing the dietician for 9 months and she is fantastic. Very motivating and caring, happy to bounce through my random thoughts and ideas during the ups and downs of my weight loss journey.

I've seen Nick countless times with various sporting injuries over the past 10 years and have always been extremely happy with the service. No problem they cant fix. I have been going to Active Care Physio Capalaba for 8 years now and they are an amazing team. From the admin team to the treatment team they are simply the best. Nothing is never a problem and they will always find a solution to get you fighting fit. Brien has treated me for nearly all the time i have been going to Active Care Physio Capalaba. I’ve been seeing Brien for some time now and in a very short period of time he had stopped my severe daily headaches. The advice and ongoing care is second to none. The reception staff are fantastic and are always happy, friendly, and have a moment to have a laugh. Honestly can not fault these guys, such a great team!!

Active Care Physio has been our go to place for many things over the last 10years, to say that they are the best is and understatement. Our family is very active and has had our ups and downs with injuries but we can always rely on the team at Active Care Physio to get us up and running again. I have been coming here weekly for 5 years now. Brien is my physio and is absolutely 1st class. I visit with Matt when Brien is away and can highly recommend this clinic. The receptionists are fantastic and always very helpful. I can definitely recommend Active Care Physio at Capalaba absolutely 1st class the best physio clinic in Brisbane. This clinic is definitely 5 star plus.

A fantastic clinic that is very friendly and professional. I have been seeing Brian when needed over the past 7 years and I would not consider going anywhere else. Brien and the rest of the Active Care team and great to deal with and genuinely care about their clients. Would definitely recommend this local clinic!!
