Kids Capers Childcare first started in 2003 with a vision to provide quality childcare and early education, in a safe and supportive environment. With a background in design and development all of our early learning education centres are purpose-built, allowing children to learn and grow through play, whether it's a state of the art new structure or converting a heritage listed church, each Kids Capers Centre offers a unique and interesting learning environment.

Our family owned business delivers high quality care in the early years. Our mission is to provide a play based and child centred curriculum through our unique and natural learning environments. Our team of dedicated professional educators will develop and build meaningful, warm and nurturing relationships that are inclusive and supportive to all children, families and the Community.
Nutrition is the only remedy that can bring full recovery and can be used with any treatment. Remember, food is our best medicine! Learning about healthy lifestyles including food and nutrition, physical activity, and the ability to relax is integral to wellbeing and self-confidence at any age. Kids Capers provide all meals at Kids Capers Bald Hills, Clayfield, Northgate, North Lakes, Mango Hill, Scarborough, Sandgate and Samford.
At Kids Capers we believe in the importance of being active members of the overall community and strive to work with, and educate our Capers kids on the importance of such. The whole Kids Capers Clayfield community were highly affected by this and as such arranged a "Night Under the Stars" event as a fundraiser for the Lung Cancer Foundation Australia.
Kids Capers Bald Hills is a special place for all children aged six weeks to six years old. We believe in educating the whole child. Much of our day is spent outdoors in our natural playground, which is designed to engage, challenge and provide unlimited learning opportunities. The grassed play scape includes a vegetable garden, a workshop and garage, a huge climbing log, a cubby, a tunnel and plenty of spaces to play, create and pretend.

After making a big interstate move during the peak of covid we enrolled our 3 year old daughter to this centre and a year latter we have never second guessed this decision. The staff here have become family to our daughter. They have been so reliable and trustworthy to make us feel so confident in the care they take. She loves attending this centre and has made some beautiful friendships. Her growth since being here has been incredible to watch.

Love KC north lakes, my daughter was the first one out of my 4 kids to go daycare, which was a big deal for me and my daughter, with fear of not being together. But the staff at KC north lakes made my daughter’s first day so easy for me to trust them with her. I definitely regret not letting my older kids attend daycare 😌 her teachers are the best she transitioned into daycare faster then expected. Staff is so welcoming & supportive always greeting me when I go in for drop offs & pick ups 🤩 definitely recommend KC North lakes 💯

The centre is beautifully designed with ample space for all the kids to play and blends into the surrounding bush land. The staff are attentive and caring and genuinely love their roles in educating the children. My son loves the food that is provided and has been comfortable and happy there since day 1.

I have had 3 little babies go through North Lakes Kids Capers and I cannot recommend this centre enough. The staff has been amazing and I feel confident to leave my babies with them. The teachers actually really do care for our kids and I couldn't ask for more. Thank you for loving my babies, it will never be forgotten ❤️

Absolutely amazing centre, the staff have welcomed my daughter into her room perfectly. Every time we enter the centre we are welcomed by very smiley faces throughout the entire centre, each and every single staff member are extremely helpful & polite. I 100% recommend this centre to everyone. :)

Kids Capers is a wonderful centre. My 3 year old daughter feels so secure and confident there thanks to the educators who are really caring and warm. The yard is amazing and the rooms are well sized, the kids can explore and develop. There seems to be a lot of structure to their day which I also really appreciate.

My 4 children and I have been a part of the Kids Capers North Lakes family for 9 years and still have another couple of years to go! That speaks volumes about the centre and the wonderful staff, that we haven't left! Even when we move further away next year, we will continue to send our daughter there. My kids have all loved their time there.
