Services
The Bengal Curry House, a pioneer in Indian cuisine to Brisbane, first opened it's doors at Woolloongabba in 1981, relocating in 1999 to the beautiful Wynnum foreshore. The owners Ruhul and Vanessa Amen have continued to serve consistantly delicious Indian cuisine in true family style and spirit. Recently their son, Sharif has taken the position of head chef and their daughter Mareena is leading the front of house staff in service excellence.
The following descriptions and pictures have been added to our site to help you make the most of the Bengal Curry House experience. Similar to korma curries with the addition of ground cashews and dressed with almonds, pistachios, pine nuts etc. A very popular dish. Boneless, skinless chicken breast sizzled in the oven and then simmered in select masalas, and fresh cream.

I have been going to this restaurant for many years. Mostly I would take out my orders: the Potato Samosa is the best compared to any other tri state Indian restaurant, Karahi Goat curry is excellent. The owner is extremely friendly person and always greets you with respect, a wonderful place for being a family owned. Their buffet is very reasonably priced which is quite good but not extravagant for the price they are charging. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone without hesitation.

It's an average restaurant. There are lot of issues that need to be fixed 1) Cleanliness is the big concern. Their spoons & forks will give you evidence about this
2) Don't try their buffet
3) Service is too late
4) They know how to serve the old food of 3-4 days
It is recommended to ask them to make fresh food for you & then you will enjoy some tasty stuff. Their Fried fish is good, Kheer is good.
