Gino's Restaurant
Gino's Italian Restaurant was first established by Gino Fiorini in 1975 and has been in our family since 1981, but one thing has always remained the same and that's quality food. If you're searching for proper Italian cooking in Hamilton then look no further. We at Gino's warmly invite you to join us and allow us to spoil you with true Italian recipes that we've developed over decades.

We're a cosy restaurant with a community buzz and you'll find us on Kingsford Smith Drive, the main road through Hamilton, right on the bank of the Brisbane River. Why not reserve a table online and come and pay us a visit? We're very much looking forward to welcoming you as part of the Gino's family!

Overall a great family environment. We ordered a range of stuff and all shared. The pizza was great, with the exception of the calzone ones they are far too dry. The traditional lasagna was unusual it comes in an almost soup like bowl, and is very wet, it wasn't too bad but certainly not amazing. They also stocked some traditional drinks and the pricing for families was good, not over priced at all. Overall walked away happy.

We’ve been so fed up with the arrogant, pretentious, overpriced Italian restaurants across gentrified New Farm that we wanted to try an old-fashioned down-to-earth classic: Gino’s, and we were not disappointed. Friendly and attentive service, welcoming atmosphere, scrumptious food, good portion sizes, and easy parking. And they don’t close their kitchen at 8pm like other places often do. We’ll be back! Grazie 🙏

My pizza arrived with a funny smell but I tough would be the olive and after the 3rd slice it got stronger liking stinking rottem meat then I stopped eat and took a bit of the bacon to smell it, why did I do that cuz I almost vomited 🤢 , after that my pattern smelled it too and felt the same.
I immediately went out off the restaurant to no vomit on the table and my pattern went to the counter to pay, once he told what happened to the front counter person she didn't say anything and charged us.
I really hope it doesn't make me sick.

Beware the portion sizes. Been going there for years and recently concerned about reduced helping sizes. Tonight, I felt totally ripped off by the takeaway Gnocchi- the size of helping is so small that you need to get a whole extra meal. When I called them back to ask, they explained that if i had ordered pasta I would have got more and with gnocchi, they serve less. That’s poorly to do that to your takeaway customers without mentioning that portions are small.

Im sorry but this is the worst place to be called an Italian restaurant ! What a shame ! Never have I ever had a carbonara with cooked scrambled egg in it ! Once the pasta arrive rest of us waited another 30 minutes for the pizza, obviously chefs do not care ! Never come back and won’t recommend this place. Pizza was awful ! Super doughy, no seasoning whatsoever. Rather have domino than this. Waiter was nice tho.

Food was okay. My spicy prawn pasta was pretty bland. Don’t think it’s worth $28 per serving but yea it’s in Hamilton so kinda understandable. Oysters are not the best but okay. Overall I guess it’s a 6 out of 10 experience for me

Really enjoyed my first experience at Gino's. Everything I tried was so flavoured and yum... Entree and the two main courses we had were on the larger sizes which is always great, prices are very good for what you get.
Service was great, we didn't have to wait much and everyone seemed very attentive, frindly and helpful. Would definetely recommend for someone looking for great italian food.

I just the most disgusting ravioli I've ever eaten. I think it came from a can, yet cost me $20. The sauce was runny and water-like, like a soup, and the ravioli was tough and tasted uncooked. It even had that "canned food after taste". This isn't just my opinion, as my wife had a bite and then spat it out. This was an uber eats order, the first and last time from Gino's.

Reasonably priced, I ordered a couple of pizza with extras on top and it was like nothing was added but they charged me.
They need to improve there coverage on their pizzas 2 stars would be to harsh if they improve in this area definately bump it up to 4 stars.

I really enjoyed my experience at Gino's. I didn't know what to expect but I wanted to try something new near / on Racecourse Rd and this was a hit. The food was delicious and not too pricey; and the servings are generous so you won't be left hungry!

My friend and I shared a pizza and calamari and it was delightful. The calamari was a stand out - cooked to perfection. I wasn't a fan of the side of sauce but the calamari on its own was enough :) I can't speak highly enough of the calamari - seriously cooked to perfection; tender and mouth watering. I'd definitely

So it's a ridiculously hot day and because my house has no air conditioning (ugh) I'm burning energy like nobody's business and continuously hungry. Finally I figure, "that's it! I'm going out and getting a proper meal and stuffing my face". So I drag my friend to somewhere I have not yet tried; I drag her to Gino's.

I'd heard Gino's was more of a family friendly atmosphere, so I was more expecting screaming children and families. Yes, there were children and families, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed Gino's laid back atmosphere

I am incredibly fussy with my pasta. I almost always get ravioli at each new Italian restaurant I go to. I would hate to know how much ravioli I have eaten over my life span! But that said, because I know it so well, ravioli is my gauge of how good I think a restaurant is.

Gino's is pretty far up the list! I have eaten in Italy and it is hard to compare with the homeland but Gino's comes close. The pasta is lovely and the sauce is amazing.

So, after having established the quality, I have been back several times, often with family. It is always a great night out. The interior is simple

I once had a friend called Lorenzo Lamborghini. He was Italian and taught me that Italians hate when non-italian's try to remake their traditional dishes. He refused to eat any Italian based dishes while he lived in Australia.

But Roberto would've eaten at Ginos.
