Excellent Indian Meal. Been to this lovely restaurant couple of times during my stay in Brisbane. Super impressed with decor, ambience, food and attentive service. Seemed like a lovely owner run business, and it reflected in attention to detail towards smallest of the things, incl generous portion sizes and great presentation
Would highly recommend to try it and use it as a benchmark for your dining experience (at least Indian cuisine), and you'll be coming back for more. Great going guys, all the best 👍

Good food but poor customer service. My husband and I dined in for the first time at this restaurant and I just asked if their curry is good for sharing and the server (i think who is the owner well) told us that ‘we can do whatever we want with our food’ My husband and I just looked at each other and felt embarrassed as they way he talked to us. NEVER coming back to this restaurant!!!

Arrogance attitude from owner, not courteous and when asked he replies I have been in business from 8 years i know how to run business. Frozen Malai kofta. Food as average as in any normal takeaway. Pity it is considered as fine dine. Boss please visit other Indian restaurants like Sankalp, Dhishoom, Curry & Cask to learn how food & service is taken care.

A nice setting with that classic Indian furniture and artwork.
We were welcomed by the staff, who while training, were courteous and efficient
The menu is the usual; we shared a platter and had mains, rice and naan.
Overall above average for Brisbane, but for the curry connoisseur it’s nothing amazing
Overall we stop by if we were hungry but would go out of our way to indulge

We love Indian food Midweek Thursdays or Fridays. Particularly, we are fans of the cuisine from the Punjab, a region split by the Pakistan-Indian border. The regional food was made famous for its use of the Tandoori oven.
(And of course the region is also famous for the religion of the Sikhs. If you surname is Singh and you don't cut your hair on your head, you are probably a Sikh.)
Our favourite naan (from the Tandoori oven) is the Naan Amini or naan stuffed with paneer and spinach. Sooo Good!!!! Aamaya doesn't disappoint. Often, we just feel like Tandoori naan and Pappadums to start of dinner

Such a great dine in experience. The butter chicken was exceptional, served in a creamy well balanced sauce. Delicious coconut rice and the best garlic and cheese naan! Could not ask for anything better! Excellent customer service, staff are friendly and attentive - could not fault!
Aamaya is one of the top Indian Restaurants in Brisbane, by far exceeds may others 5/5 stars.

I was here for dinner in a group. Let me first start by saying the decor and presentation of the restaurant is very well done and extremely welcoming. The food is moderately priced for what it is but is extremely filling and packed full of flavour. The coconut rice was definitely a stand out and possibly the best I have ever had. Considering the lack of customers in the restaurant the service was slightly slow. Overall still a fantastic meal that I would happily recommend.
