Julia has over twenty years' experience working with children, adolescents and adults with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, their families and/or carers. Julia has worked providing behavioural intervention programs in private practice, Early Childhood settings and in the home. Julia has experience facilitating parent groups, running anxiety management and social skills groups and delivering seminars and workshops.
Julia has a particular interest in providing parent support and counselling, including ten years as the CEO/Principal Psychologist at Autism Behavioural Intervention Association, seven years as a Family Counsellor for Autism Victoria and five years in Private Practice at the Emotional Health Centre.

Services
Children with ASD, Developmental Delay or Intellectual Disability throw up challenges often not encountered in typical parenting. Parents and carers of such children must think outside the square and use different techniques to communicate with, teach and discipline their children. Helping to understand the child's diagnosis, drawing on personal accounts from individuals with ASD, and current research.
We are situated off Warrigal Rd between Toorak Road and Riversdale Road, nearby to Wattle Park Primary School. The office is in the group of shops between the Foodrinkery cafe, and Spectrum and Crazy Feet dance studios. Limited all day parking is available directly in front of the adjacent park. Unlimited parking between 9.15 and 3.00pm is available further along Banksia Street towards Somers Street.
