If you are having difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep for at least 3 nights a week for 1 month or more, the chances are that you are starting to lose your confidence in sleeping well. Once you lose your confidence in sleep an anxiety usually builds about your ability to sleep well again. You are likely to take this anxiety to bed with you each night making it harder and harder to fall asleep.
Once your sleep has fallen into a disruptive pattern it is likely to stay that way until you confront it. Sleep with Confidence is a program designed to help people sleep better by rebuilding their confidence in sleep. Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy together with psycho-educational support, this program aims at reducing anxiety about not sleeping and provides practical easy to apply strategies to help people sleep better.
