Dr Kate Marsh is an Advanced Accredited Practicing Dietitian (Adv APD), Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE) and a Fellow of the Australian Diabetes Educators Association and The Australasian Society for Lifestyle Medicine. Kate has a PhD, Master of Nutrition and Dietetics and BSc from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management from the University of Technology Sydney.
A healthy lifestyle is an essential part of managing PCOS and is recommended as the first step in treatment. This incorporates good nutrition, regular physical activity, adequate sleep, stress management and emotional wellbeing.
