After completing a tertiary business qualification in Brisbane, Nicholas decided to follow in the footsteps of other family members and embark on a Chiropractic education. He enrolled in a 5 year Doctor of Chiropractic program at the world renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, USA.

Then, you and Dr Armitage (Chiropractor) will have a consultation so he can get to know all about your specific problems.

Nicholas is without a doubt the most genuine and energetic person you could ask for in a professional, both me and my partner go to him regularly and already experienced great results in our posture and spine in such a short amount of time. We live 40 mins away from his practice and have to cross the gate way bridge to get to him, worth the time spent travelling the distance. My partner has been to different chiropractors in the past and mentioned that Nicholas is the best by far with his skills and how he conducts himself. His overall energy is always welcoming, keep up the great work team!

I travel from Bribie Island up to 3 times per week and it is totally worthwhile.

Nicholas and his team have been very attentive to my chiropractic needs for the past few years. I always though I would have to "suffer" through neck pain leading to migraines lasting for three days on end continuously. Thanks to Nick I've been able to enjoy the positive mindset that comes with being pain free. And when there are bad 'relapse' days, Nick will open up his office even when he's closed and red-adjust my spine. Could not recommend Nicholas and his team enough! I'm sure my mother and brother, whom both see Hawthorne Chiropractic fortnightly, will say the same thing!

Dr. Nicholas Armitage is professional and unique in his job. I had a cervical spine prolapse 3 years ago. I had limitations in daily life as well as pain. In Germany they worked with physiotherapie and drugs. My options for the rest of my life also were drugs every day or surgery...
After research in the internet i found Hawthorne Chiropractic. Easy to get an appointment. After an anamnesis and an examination with x rays, he just needed 2/3 adjustments to reduced the pain and gave me my life back. I go there regularly to get 100% of my health back. Furthermore he is a cool dude.

Nicholas is a great professional and his treatments are extremely effective. My daughter was relieved of excruciating migraines after only 2 adjustments and no longer suffers from period pain. Results on me are multiple : back pain is gone, more balanced and stronger body just to name a few. In the past I have had 3 dislocated ribs and I also fell down the stairs and had a huge lump on my lower back for the past 2 years. The past 5 chiropractors failed to treat it sufficiently to make it go away. Only one diagnosed the ribs. He got two back in. The third one still gives me trouble. I have a dislocated rib and Nicks full test never hurt one bit at all. There was nothing scary about walking backwards and forwards and bending, and squeezing a device. Nick is very thorough and does many different adjustments. He addresses all areas not just the usual culprits. I feel much better since

I've been going to Hawthorne Chiropractic for a few months because it's ridiculously convenient to my home. I'm no expert in chiropractic, but Nick seems good at what he does, and has a very effervescent personality.
I particularly liked that they had on-site X-ray facilities, which didn't require a separate trip anywhere else.
