My sauna is a roomy 2 seater with long glass panels so you will never feel claustrophobic. Most of my regular students use the sauna for about 20 mins during the first part of the class in meditation with clothes on. They get out before they begin to perspire, therefore there is no need to remove clothes for the sauna.

Often a student wishes do a deep detox in which case most clothes are taken off, lots of water is consumed and for privacy a large room divider is placed in front of it. The science states that far infrared saunas create an alkali environment in the body, this encourages rapid detox, easy weight loss and muscle healing.

I had no idea what to expect when a good friend dragged me to my first Iyenga yoga class at Melbourne University. My back was always aching. I knew I needed more than doctors pills and physios so I gave it a go. The class was fabulous. My back felt great. The room it was held in was gorgeous. If you know Melbourne university you may agree that most of the halls and buildings are beautiful.
Earthing or grounding is one the most powerful health pursuits we can include in our day, but it seems for many westerners it is a forgotten practice. Or perhaps it seems unpleasant to walk bare foot as we may get dirty or ruin our pedicure. Indigenous folk whom we refer to as 3rd world folk never had to wear shoes as they lived in warm climates.
In my experience many folk do not want to forgive themselves or others let alone understand why its of vital importance. Refusal to forgive either others or ourselves implies a decision has been made via our free will that we have been harmed in some way, leaving us the victim and that balance must be restored via punishment.

If we look closely at this chart of Meridians we see channels of energy or chi moving through the body. These channels are the exactly same on both sides of the body and each channel correlates to a vital organ. What excites me is that we don't need to do a lot of difficult yoga. Just a few easy yin yoga postures can activate all of our meridians leaving us feeling amazing.
