All practitioners at Bodywise Osteopathy practice are registered practitioners with their respective professional associations. Our Osteopaths are also registered with Workcover, Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and Medicare (through the Enhanced Primary Care [EPC] program).
We all maintain our recency of practice requirements in order to sustain a high level of professionalism, competence and enthusiasm by among other things, attending an assortment of study/practical seminars, conferences and workshops.

Claire bacame interested in osteopathic medicine after seeing how beneficial it was for her mother following an acute lower back strain. Since completing her own training, Claire aims to treat each patient according to their individual needs using a variety of techniques. These include soft tissue massage, joint articulation and mobilisation and gentle trigger point release.
Dr Arie's interest in osteopathy was initially inspired through the improvements he experienced from the treatment of his own injuries sustained in his promising junior athletics career. Although ultimately not realising his childhood dreams of representing Australia, he did however pursue his love of osteopathy and completed his qualifications in Melbourne at Victoria University, with a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Health Science.
Ben began his professional working life as a laboratory technician (pathology), working for 7 years in the Department of Haematology at the RBH. He did enjoy the work but found that he wasn't interested in being "stuck behind the screens" for his entire career and soon realised he had a desire to have direct patient contact as a practitioner.

I spent 4 or more years trying different doctors, physios, osteos & chiropractors
in the area for my leg and back pain and no one could successfully help me (two of them even made my issues worse) until i started coming here. Anthony was the only person who could help me figure out what my issue was. Not to mention the wonderful receptionist who is super friendly & always has a smile on her face. Thank you for all your help:)

I saw Ty for my neck problem about 2 years ago. In one comprehensive treatment, he eliminated my neck pain and increased the range of motion in my neck - back to what it had been before my car accident 20 years prior. I have had no further problems since that treatment and had been seeing various other practitioners for 20 years with varying and limited results. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I did not have a good experience here, I had 6 sessions here about a year ago. On my first session I told him my pain had already been diagnosed to be caused by a bulging disc, however he proceeded to tell me that it wasn't the cause (without viewing any scans) and treated me for SI joint dysfunction. Session would only go for 15 minutes, he did the same thing every time and my pain only increased over the sessions. I was doing exercises as instructed to try and to improve my symptoms however this was the beginning of a severe decline in my back health. I ended up in emergency a month later with

I have being seeing Osteopaths since I was 15 .I’m now 24 and it’s really hard to trust anyone to adjust my back, the way I need it done.
